I was at all three Dublin show, was in the pit for this one. Arrived at Croke park at 6.30am it was around 8.45pm when U2 took to the stage :)
As I've got older I realize how completely amazing this band is.

best gig ive ever been at.they blew me away.
I was there. Pitch near the front. Jesus it was loud. The only shows on the whole tour that weren't 360 degrees. Ironic.
I'm not Irish but when Bono sings The Unforgettable Fire and says "take me home"..It gives me chills ;)

Bono's voice was a little rusty during the first portion of the 360 tour (2009) :( but bounced back after his back injury!

I would say their best recorded live concerts were Sydney, live 1993, ZooTv tour, then Slane Castle, Elevation tour 2001

Man this is a great capture of a great concert.I am broad in my musical taste. I doubt drugs can give the high that was experienced when at this concert. 360 was second only to the 'Pop' tour which was of the back of four simply incredible albums - Fire, Tree, Acthung and Zoopropa. Zooropa is a classic. By the way Hum was good. But it was second tier behind the others. Gun to my head? The best songs were Unforgetable Fire and Magnificent. I don't know how these guys do it. Jim Kerr of Simple Minds says they are Scientists. I believe he may have a point.

croke park was amazing, but pity it wasnt full 360*......and i learnt from a roadie that quite a lot of the lighting and sound system were missing- due to time and logistical problems.great gig but not as good as cardiff- that should of been the dvd they released, instead of the "yanks" always getting the nod... there performance on that night in cardiff was on another level, and the crowds singing was fucking off the scale. peace to all u2 popmartians around the world.

not rose bowl, maybe slane, rattle and hum, boston... Naa, can't pick one, just not the rose bowl, all the others are epic! The brussels multicam is great! but I find that because i attended the show myself, but it was a killer show, no doubt!

Man, when they came out to Mpls. they only played three NLOTH songs. (GOYB, Crazy, MoS).
Probably best to play classic songs considering that No Line on the Horizon is such a shite album.
Actually, I thought NLOTH was their best album since Zooropa.
Jon Meier I really tried to like it, but it just never inspired me like 'Atomic Bomb' did before it.
you can really hear bono's voice is gone in this tour compared to elevation and vertigo its sad to see really poor version of beatiful day and some others compared to previous tours

i was at all 3 gigs i do hope next visit home is slane castle , croke park is a crap music venue too controlled police state type of feel slane is spirt valley out door area with a air of area with history of greats
No other Band in the World can mess with U2! They are more than just a Band! Maybe they are bigger than God ??? who knows :)
I hate that stupid microphone on WOWY - nearly every live performance just sounds a bit off at the start because he keeps having to wrangle it so it doesn't spin or get away.
Its all the same audio... Cant you tell THEY ALL SOUND THE SAME

well I was only 32 when I posted that. I'm 33 now, so I've mellowed out quite a bit.
First of all, i totally disagree that the gig of 24th was the best. I was in all three (24, 25, 27) and definitely the best one, was the third of 27th..! If you check the set list, you'll understand why... I can say that the gig of 27th was probably the best of all 3 years 360 tour..! Very similar was the 2nd gig in Wembley one month later. The 15th of August. I also have all these 5 gigs in dvd made of multicam from many users, with exeptional edit and great sound..!
What would I have to do to get a physical dvd copy of this show? It would really make me happy.
