This thing is $30 and still a lot of car manufacturers don't include this by default and they want +1000EUR for this. By the way, they're cheaply made but their amplifier are always good, I have never seen a bad one. I think your unit or the speaker is defective. They run on Windows CE and they have 256MB RAM, 512MB storage but Win CE required only 64MB so it runs snappy. You can sideload Windows CE apps to them. We are installing these to the cars in our car rental business. They are just fine.

If you have nothing else to use then maybe but it probably won't last too long at that price.

What if you connect to the Bluetooth audio then try the mirroring feature will the audio play through the radio then?

Quite possibly, but the fact that I got the CarPlay to work made the mirroring redundant

isn't this meant for a car? wouldn't you need to hook up a set of speaker for it to play music??

Technically yes but I have the ability to run it on my bench and I had a 6” coax wired to it
