Did you have it done by the dealer? That's a lot. Any other bushings? Control arms?
All things considered everything listed is pretty reasonable.
that is true
I bought a 2009 RX 350 about a month ago. This morning i went out to a check engine light and a flashing VSC light. so irritated right now
are you taking it to a mechanic? it is likely a sensor
awesome video
My clock doesn’t work. Do I have to fix that whole screen or is there something I can do to fix it myself
Is it at the wrong time?
@@RevLexus No it doesn’t display the time
@@jjaynes02 I have no idea sorry
@@RevLexus unplug clock and replace it from used parts
Great video
I have a 2008 lexus, it's not the 350 but the 400h,
same thing (just hybrid)with more than 222k miles at now
for sure We will have problems (issues) because of the years on top, how many years on the road already ( topk me to north California and many other trips, but its old alread and depends on everyone conditions, (how we do used it plus is more than 10 years already)
if You want a perfect car just get a new one..(my humble opinion)
I just got another old one 2017 450h, with 30k miles it's many differences and technology aboard, not to compare but we want an old one (I love mine) it's not the car it's like me getting old,
now my bones are cracking and making noise too, lol😂
greetings and Blessings to all...
thanks for your comment :)
Mine bas 83k on the original suspension and it rides perfectly fine bub
First of all they installed the steering on the wrong side
Funny lol, technically it is a Japanese car made in Japan (& they are RHD too). Therefore lhd Lexus vehicles are on the wrong side ;) :P
@@RevLexus I was just pulling your chain It's an Awesome SUV🇨🇦
Awesome
I suspect it's due to dirt on the CDs the slot is wide open
My Lexus rx330 2007 has a camshaft noise, any solution please
Not that easy to understand scottish english...
Thanks for that interersting and useful video.
no worries
Scottish English is cool 😎 👍
LOL, yes, his dialect is really strong, so will listen a few more times until I get it. We watch a lot of British/Irish/Scottish tv series, but I guess it's been too long. Love the accent in any event!
Love your language.. hard to understand but lovely..
Thanks, I am Scottish :)
2008 mine vibrates between 40-50 like a hesitation....any ideas?
wheel balance?
No Oil Cooler Line Leak? I'm praying that never happens... on my 2009 RX350...
Fingers crossed!
change it!
There's a steel replacement that will prevent that! Better get that fixed
@@TheFriendlyamoeba thank you! Is it possible you know a possible brand which is reliable to put on a replacement on that pipe?
Just had it happen...I didn't even know it was losing oil until engine light came on! Scary...costs about 650$ to have fixed.
I had lower control arms shocks struts and rotors
Had to replace the hoses and housing kit on mine easy fix
that is good!
what year and what’s was the kit you used
@@godtheater 2004,also just did axle n struts, is like new again - kit was from junkyard taken directly off another one
Thank you for sharing your information, Heres no offence ment! But i had to use the word captions to understand most of what you said, because of your accent! for instance, here in Ameri ca we call the part that covers the engine compartment, the"Hood! you call it the bonnent.in the back, we call it a trunk, you call it the boot! And if i had to drive with the stearing wheel on the right side, id be going around in cercles all day!
It needs to be recalled and they need to replace it and correct it
what?
You're right about the rear hatch and the suspensions... my current situation 🤦🏽♂️
oh no
Grrat video on the lexus rx
I think part of the problem is you talk very fast if you slow down I think there wouldn't be a problem at all
Power steering rack as well
did yours fail?
Had leaks a few times and I need a power steering pressure hose but we are original owners
@@Legend-qs6lq aww, I hope it gets sorted ok?
Not neccessary fail it still runs fine I have just added fluid until I can get the rack
@@Legend-qs6lq good to know
How many miles can last suspension
a good 150k I'd say
@@RevLexus thank you
You completely left out the windows falling off the tracks on the back doors they all do that you can prevent it by keeping the tracks clean I'm using a little bit of dry silicone to lubricate them because the damn things come apart because the tracks become dirty due to the material they are made of is to porous it attracts dirt and oil then the windows bind in the track pulls off the bottom also reset on automatic windows and that terrible terrible side view mirror on the right and the way it turns into a brown piece of glob
The trim pieces peel the pain pills right off of it's so ugly it appears that they painted right over the metal they didn't rough it or prime it it's like they painted over chrome and you know how that works don't take it off and do all that crap just tape it buff it up and paint it
I honestly could only understand about 20% of what you said. Not enough to be useable. Perhaps more subtitling?
sorry about that, what country are you from?
I don't see how they don't understand what you are saying? 🤔if the people making these rudely comments can speak or understand English, i don't see how they don't understand that you are speaking English aswell...SMH 🙄🤦♀️some people are just simply ignorant...I think you explained everything on this video very well and understood 👍 everything you said...
@@almaaguilera1646 thank you :)
LOL I'm not native English and I could understand him perfectly, maybe missed a word or two somehere because of the accent, but 80%? You must have hearing problems mate :-))
@@Andek74 I agree 👍
All normal wear and tear.
Next thing you're going to tell me is that it's going to need an oil change.
I am confused?
Or the tires need air.
ohhh
Just hard to understand.
what country are you watching from?
If only this were in english.... Lol
What language do you think I am speaking?
Could you please speak slower you are very hard to understand here in New Zealand
I will try, I am in Scotland
What kind of English is this?
UK
What a whiner
nothing breaks on Lexus compared to European cars
The purpose of this video was to aid RX potential owners for things to look out for. I have owned several BMWs and I know their costs add up. No car is perfect.
Good car humor 👍🏼
