It took me 10+ years to realize that Clover speaks in a man's voice at the end, yet Stephen's character calls him a "she" earlier (in the "smack fairy" sentence). Not sure what to make of that ^_^
I am always amazed when people ask my daxy questions, 'What's your name?' being the most common.The second most popular thing is 'Have you got your ball?', when he clearly has it in his mouth. Bizarrely, at the recent local election, a person on their way out stopped and said to him, 'You're not going to vote for that nasty Tory are you?', to which I said that if he does, I'm walking home alone.
I've always felt it would be better if the vet came in and asked in one go "Clover? What can I do for you?" and then the dog responded.
