This is the best setup I've heard on the V6 300. Too many guys try to make the V6 sound like a V8 but it just doesn't work like that. Instead the goal should be just to make something that sounds good and this sounds excellent.
Just did this exact mod to my 300 limited and it sounds amazing, have gotten so many compliments from people! also the drone sound isn't prevalent unless your cruising above 2000 rpm which for the 8 speed tran isn't a issue unless going like 85+ consistently
I love it! I saw another video with the black challenger that you installed the vibrant resonators on and I have to say that your channel has got me hooked.
BURNED ME ! Those aren’t 1790s those are 1794s. 1790s are much smaller. Look at the picture on the box, clearly different. Now I have a 300 that sounds like a damn 2002 Honda Civic. Absolutely terrible. Now I have to trash this and get the right ones installed. My fault for not examining the ones they installed closer before having the work done. Waste of cash. Thanks
Did you get the 1794’s installed? I want this sound but I saw the pipe size is 2.5” and the inlet size on the 1794’s is 3”. Just trying to find out what works?
i know you didn’t cut the middles out. but on my 300 i already did.. was thinking of adding these resonators on too. does anyone know if that would sound good with both done or would it be bad?
I’m trying to replace a bad rear resonator but I can’t find a good deal on it, I want it to sounds close to the stock exhaust and will this sep up be like it? Don’t want to deal with drone
I just got a 2018 Chevy Colorado V6 and I will be replacing the resonator and Muffler with a vibrant resonator here soon. If it is not loud enough I will replace the third cat with a high flow. Or just delete it all together who knows
So what the difference with these Vibrant mufflers either being in the back vs being in the middle, you have another video on a V6 Challenger with these mufflers in the middle….which is louder as they both put out over 100db…by the way love you videos for the V6 crowd!!!
Really really clean, i removed my rear suitcases and only replaced with straight pipe, the sound didnt change at all. If i use these resonators would that create a different tone??
depends on your setup. notice his mufflers are round straight throughs with an X pipe. some have regular offset offset mufflers, and some are just single pipe into a Y at the end. I have the same setup has the car in the video, and deleted the resonators. it was WAY too droney and very loud. ordered the exact resonators from the video and am putting those in.
@@_wimza_7983 Gas, just like the car in the video. That one and mine are identical. My friend's charger with resonators deleted sounds the exact same but slightly louder, adding these resonators will do nothing for you unless you have the setup seen in the video
@@ryanfields3247 thanks bud, my exhaust system for the most part is stock. Mine is diesel so unless i gut the DPF the sound isnt going to change all that much.
Shout out to Exhaust Addicts! I just upgraded my Jeep GC V6 and sounds amazing! ua-cam.com/video/qHvfon-lPiY/v-deo.html Since I do not live close by, I researched on your UA-cam channel and decided to keep the stock mid-muffler, replace the back stock resonator by a Vibrant 1792 and use a 4" tip. Perfect sound! Just a hair louder than stock. Not to loud for a family car. Comparison video: ua-cam.com/video/qHvfon-lPiY/v-deo.html
I have the exact same setup on my 2015 300S, completely identical car down to the vibrant part numbers. I'm experiencing a lot of drone inside the car, enough at certain RMPS to not hear anything else, like at 1500 and then 2500 under load. I'm thinking putting on tips that extend to at least the end of the factory fake tips might help?
It sez 1790 on the box in the video.... but they link to the 1794 on amzn.. so not sure exactly which one they used on the car?... im assuming they used the correct box to show for the vid?
@@taadaa3135 My part number might actually be the 1792, my dimensions are 2.5 in and out, 12 overall length. Regardless, it was just so it could slide overtop the 2.25 OD pipe on the car.

quiet and monotonous. One of the worst ones on this channel. It boggles my mind that people like this setup. Why don't you v6 boys just stick to stock exhaust if you don't fully commit.
You seem to be a guy that thinks only V8's sound good. Stock exhaust in inaudible, this has volume and punch that can only be heard over something like good car speakers, shitty speakers don't give you the sound.
@@kenaritaylor4850 Can confirm, definitely doesn't sound the same in person though, sounds much better. My car is essentially identical to the one in the video, right down to the part number of the resonators

That’s what sound should be for v6 perfect thanks 👌
So what all was done to this?
Stock exhaust, remove rear mufflers and add these resonators?
That silencer would sound perfect on a VR6 engine.
