The "you're an awful teacher" remark is hilarious. I find your explanations and breakdowns of things to be very clear and easy to understand. In fact, they helped me start thinking about the value of a process buliding up a drawing instead of impatiently jumping straight to the details!

You don't have to respond to these distractors. They waste time and spoken words that just might be the gem that sparks our understanding. Thank you, for what you do.

Personally, I prefer to learn from someone whose willing to show many different approaches to rather than adhering to one approach and having me practicing, for years, a method that does for me. I personally use a variety of shapes for the head. I’ve been practicing your eye technique for a while and have grown to love it. I like because it allows me to draw the bust with good proportions without having to draw the whole torso. But yeah, you’re a good teacher don’t listen to the haters.

I love your style! It gives me more confidence in drawing faster because I think it looks better, though feeling less in control. Tough balance. I got a new rythm for construction out of this vid also, and I'm giggly about it. Thanks!

I think you might be the best art teacher on the planet, I hate to sound cliché but I learned more in just one of your videos than years! of art classes. I still suck, but it's so awesome to finely know where I'm going if that makes any sense

Please never stop teaching. I've found your lessons hilarious and useful. I appreciate it how you break it down to fundamentals. Could you do a lesson on applying these concepts to draw from references? I took the draw 21 course and loved how you described it for animals. I'd like to see you do it for human faces. If you have time/interest :)

I really appreciate all the different methods you show. I’m still quite new and obviously struggling but hearing different explanations and seeing multiple ways to tackle the same thing is big for helping me learn. Usually I would have a long search to find the different methods but you present so much. It’s nice to have options in a single place.
I’m looking forward to going through the videos and playing with the different methods to see what clicks for me.

I try to learn drawing Figuren and faces, with much more dry lessons and that's really the first time, eher I have fun and play around with my faces? Thank's a lot!

He goes "Well that was easy" and then I go "How does he make it seem so damn easy" lol. Your work has been really helpful for learning how to draw, but that new artist struggle hurts so hard even after practice!
