Learned to fly on my x5c and still occasionally take it out... fun quad. But I’ve moved on to brushless, GPS, 1080P and longer flight time. If Syma would use their know-how to incorporate these technologies into an inexpensive hobby-grade drone, I’d be a Syma customer again.
Syma needs to join the 21st century and get away from brushed motors and lousy cameras ... and wi-fi FPV. They claim this is 720P HD, but its video doesn't look as good as the video from my old X5C-1 camera (which was probably 480 i ). I suppose that now that they've made a quad with folding arms, they figure they are right in step with everyone else. Definitely "Not Amazing". Kind of sad to see a company which was, at one time, one of the leaders of the 'toy grade' quad manufactures, now hitting the skids. They can't live off their past laurels forever. Oh well, if this quad bombs, maybe they'll hire a few new engineers to bring themselves into the 21st century.
Hey, i've got a little problem with my Z3, when the drone is in the air and im pushing left joystick to left position, the controller resets and drone is Landing instead od rotateing. Any advice on what to do?
Hello there! I'm quite new to Drones, I've bought a VISUO XS809HW Drone, however it's quite hard for me to turn over (I just go backward and forward), any tips for beginners? Thanks!
Sure, here are some tips to help you quickly progress beyond just forward and back. ua-cam.com/video/8_JarhVoq1A/v-deo.html And here are some more tips to help you fly distant while maintaining orientation ua-cam.com/video/qdYTCfjUVVo/v-deo.html
An optical flow drone includes a belly camera. The drone will automatically hover in place by using this camera to look at the ground beneath it to help maintain its position.
101 I doubt you got a prototype, they sell version with and without optical flow. I agree with others on here about Syma, from their (former?) position in the market they by now should be able to do a MJX Bugs 5 for 120 bucks or below. They are clearly loosing it.
Many years later and did they ever install that optical flow sensor? or an upgrade to the original Z3? btw I'm also one of the very early customers of Sima and that legendary x5 or whatever and really hope this great company survives and thrives, especially since they are mostly under the FAA's restriction/limitation radar!
No, they never did. A lot (if not most) of these low end drones are limited release. The company will throw it out there, half finished. If the drone becomes popular, great. Then they'll polish it up. But in most cases, it's on to the next drone.
I totally agree with Bill Somrak I cannot see why Syma have not got away from producing cheap brushless Quadcopters with crapy cameras that people do not want. Wake up Syma!
Congratulations. You were the first to say first (and who hadn't previously won a shoutout). You win a shoutout in a future QC101 video. Again, congratulations!

This drone is good for people that wanna practice before upgrading to Dji or Zero x drones

What is the best drone in this price range, and where can I buy it in India?
Too late but has to be "IT".

How you get the camera to the app
