Thank you Katie !Yes they plan to do a big improvemnt on the gardens who have lost a lot of their glory throughout the centuries , but it's great that it is still open to people who live nearby. These dogs are lucky their daily work is in the castle's garden , I don't think it's really possible to walk your dog in Versailles....

Isn't it a bit funny how a series titled "Versaille" is not, in fact, filmed in Versaille? :D I fully understand the complexities of that, it's just a bit amusing, n'est-ce pas?
Yes they never film in the real places especially filming in versailles is very complicated because of the crowds of tourist they seem to allow thess productions to be film there nowadays than they used to in the past. I think for this series they filmed a lot at Vaux le Vicomte and a bit here too but not at Versailles.

I just looked this castle up, Wikipedia says Robert Maxwell lived here at one time and Ghislaine Maxwell (Jeffry Epstein’s accomplice/girlfriend) was born here.
You are totally mistaken, this french castle belongs to the french public institution" Le Centre des Monuments Nationaux " since 1905. No British came to live here at any time in the 20th century.
