I like it. Paint and tile - that's all personal preference. Mom and dad downstairs and the kids have the upstairs. As long as the kids are well aware that the upstairs is theirs to keep clean and mom isn't coming up to do it for them.
A few changes, and that' would be an awesome' mansion. Must be real solid stone and wood construction. A hidden snug & bedroom. Behind sliding book shelves. Remove the nasty carpet. And add extra fire places. 👍
Want different entry door. Entry sitting rooms should be an entry closet and half bath for company. Too much green with all the green walls. Would change kitchen floor pattern, and some airs as well. Each bedroom needs it own bathroom. Where are the linens/ beddings/ utilities/ storage closets? Prefer garage entry into key then. Don't need sink in laundry room. Change bathroom pattern. Change entry and hallways patterns. Don't need sitting rooms upstairs. Waste of space. Don't care for your choice of decor.
At least here in North America, most residential construction utilizes doors and windows that are created in factories, already set in frames, and shipped to the job site for final installation. These factories have catalogs that show the various stock sizes and patterns, and some will even do custom designs. Thus, for your project, you can get whatever windows and doors you want. Same with color: as far as I know, all colors (with the possible exception of white) are the same cost per amount for a given grade, regardless of color. Many of the home improvement stores around here even mix up your choice of color (and have arrays of "test strips" for the various colors) from a small number of base colors. Colors reflect local preferences; orientals seem to like various shades of green more that others do.

Bella casa,ma gli interni hanno la freddezza e l'asetticita' di una clinica. Troppo verde sanitario. Le piastrelle sono inguardabili!!!!
