That's where and how I've got it on my CX500. Never had an issue. Just don't forget drain holes for water and foam on the sides to keep the battery from rubbing.

I think this is a great answer to the old question of what to do with the battery!! There are only 2 things that P1$$ me off .... 1. You have 100 times more equipment than me!! 2. You have 100 times more skill than me! ... But apart from that ... Brilliant!
Please Note ... The complaints were said in jest ... (even if they were true!) LOL!

I think Thank you 🙏 it’s taken me many years of trial and error to gain the skills as well as the equipment, I love sharing my knowledge to help you on your projects

Hi. Thanks as always for sharing your talents. Cool design but one possible problem. It seems like it will collect all the water and road debris because of it location and orientation. Thx!

Nice video Dan , excellent job mate. I think it works and it's not like you are going bush bashing on it, but like you said you could always fit a bash plate. Have a great weekend and take care. Cheers form the West.

Can't believe all the machinery you got now. You must be seriously running out of space in your double garage :)

    May be just small battery?

  • @FunWithAJ

Like the idea but I think the box is way way too big. I'd interest make it a quarter the size and more Tucked in. Then use one of those antigravity tiny lithium batteries which are the size of a cigarette pack.

Why not make your own battery pack with Lion or Lipo cells and hide it either under the tank or between the frame railsé

The only thing that I can critique about this build is the motorcycle that you started with. A Honda Shadow VT 750 would have been better.
