Vanders story is probably the most tragic one of them all. All he ever wanted was to save and protect his friends and then family, but in the end lost everything. First Vi and Powders Mother, then his Brother Silco. Was killed by his own daughter in an accident, horrifically revived physically and later mentaly, to being stopped and essentially killed again buy his new daughter Isha. I really did love the finale of arcane. The one thing that I really can’t stop thinking about though is that final flashback with vander. One thing I noticed nobody talking about is au Ekko. Apparently he was working on something with Powder before he even got his mind taken over by our Ekko. But what really got me interested was when Powder told Vi's memorial that Ekko was having "another" identity crisis. And how she didn't even really seem phased or surprised that Ekko was acting so weird. Maybe there's more to au Ekko than we think.

The creators confirmed it’s not a typical romantic relationship and is purely platonic I believe. However I feel whether it’s romantic or not is works very well either way.
By the by I think it is very meanful that even after Jinx cuts her hair and re-invents herself she still keeps a few things of Silco's. One. Young Silco's long front bang, she just dyes it,making it her own. Two, Young Silco's Bracelet she wears around her neck. which you see in Vander's flashback when Felicia was telling her besties she is pregnant before her husband. Three, Young Silco's Glove which you see from when Vander recovers his memories. The Remember me memory montage. I truly felt it was Jinx's way of remembering her father or a way to keep him close. Interesting note, in the Alternate Universe where Vander & Silco raise Powder together, Powder's fashion is Silco's black and red,but her hairstyle was closer to Vander, and seemed she got her advice from Vander, but The Arcane Artbook also reveals it seems AU Powder leaned more towards Silco. Also the Arcane Artbook showed a Young Silco that was pretty much a Male Jinx, from the hairstyle to the posture,Making me really doubt the creators actually believe Connol is Jinx's biological dad. I know they do, but come on. Paternity test, drat too late. Actually that would be tragic if Silco really turned out to be Jinx's biological father, because neither Silco nor Jinx would ever find out since Jinx killed Silco. Regardless it seems both AU Powder and Jinx loved Silco in the end as much as Vander. And the fact Jinx wanted to keep a part of Silco close to her is touching. She did change him, even if it took so long, better late than never.
1:41, Fortiche is really a crazy studio. They could literally say a random time and move on and it would change literally nothing but nope, they have to put another easter egg there because they can.
I mean, everyone says Ekko had fun in other timeline when Jayce literally went into dark world. But lets not forget most of ekko's like he was fighting for survival, when Jayce had it with academic time and heimer before. So they kinda switched lifes there ;)
I really not care witch season is better, I liked both, even that second really pull your heart strings, way more tragic, in the first one I was literally crying, in the second I was angry that they killed Jinx, till I watched the episode one or two times, and revise all the evidence that people were point out, yeah, Jinx didn't die, and change me from being angry, to being happy, satisfied, of course, not everyone got what they wanted, was a bittersweet ending, and I like it this way.
I got pretty much everything i wanted from S2. yeah, the pacing was fast and each episode could use additional 10 minutes but the story and all plotlines are pretty clear. the ending worked well for all characters too imo. I think it's pretty obvious Jinx is alive based on all the hints and I see no reason to not believe Viktor and Jayce are together in some magic/cosmic realm considering arcane and that rune with multidimensional qualities. Heimerdinger is a question but he's a yordle so idk. It feels like the creators left some things ambiguous to bring certain characters back in the future shows if they want to (even as cameo only). I also fully expect Black rose/Mel's plotline to be continued in the show about Noxus. my personal favorite plotline was Viktor and Jayce's one. it's just so beautifully executed with such a satisfying resolution. the cosmic soulmate bond across all universes which became so essential on such a scale. their last scenes were just pure art.
all the UA-camrs explanation I've seen. you are the only guys who said jinx survived and went through that ship with such assurance. and the explanation is good and interesting you deserve more subscription.
Jayce and Victor actually died. In the interview with the creators of the series they said our boys got disintegrated. The interview is called "Arcane: afterglow" if I'm not mistaken
That came from a dude who certainly knows how "beaming" works in Star Trek. It's for sure they same here, not like how they showed the "desintegration" of Sky
the same dude who said that Viktor (and possibly Jayce since they were connected/merged) may exist in certain form because of the connection with arcane on Necrit's stream. i wouldn't be sure about any outcome. again, even if they died, I'm satisfied with it. I think their story had the most beautiful conclusion but I could never be sure they won't do something with it in the future.
Co-creator debunked this later on social media saying his words were taken out of context in that video. So it’s still a mystery Not to mention they said they will explore Viktor more in future shows (and I doubt it’s gonna be without Jayce tbh since they are basically two sides of same coin)
Here's my take. Jayce and Viktor wasn't absorbed by the rune, but by the "anomaly" that ekko brought into that timeline. Remember, the hextech that was in the z-drive wasn't built in that timeline. And since the acceleration rune was also heavily influenced by it and that's exactly what Jayce and Viktor used at the end to revert everything, i think its what absorbed the two of them. Unto what wait for them on the other side, idk know for sure.
I am going to believe that Jinx, by walking away from it all (leaving on the ship), turns into a sojourner. I think that the time Ekko spent with Jinx before their appearance in the finale helped reaffirm what Silco said to her; giving her the will to live and giving her the will to walk away from her past. I want believe that Ekko made the decision to "stay behind" when Jinx left in order to help Zaun develop and that Jinx and Ekko would be able to start a relationship somewhere down the line, but it seems more probable that Ekko realizes that in order for Jinx to be free, he needs to let her walk away from him, too. If that is the case, not only did he give up heaven by returning to his timeline, but he gave up his relationship with Jinx because it was what SHE needed to be free. He is the boy savior indeed. It still breaks my heart because he deserves happiness more than anyone else in the series :[
AU Powder’s hair at first looks really short showing she faces less trauma but the dance scene shows she still feels the weight from Vi’s death since her hair is actually longer than first shown where she bundled it up
If you don't want to cry again after finall episode, don't look lyrics of ma mailleure ennemie (the song that plays while powder and ekko dancing). After looking lyrics O couldn't listen the song without crying. I hope I didn't write wrong. English isn't my first language.
I loved this episode so much, and actually, is such a small and great detail, but seeing what the world could've be matchs with the song name in the last episode on season one when jinx shoot the massive bomb on the council
Loved the Video. Personally Episode 7 was my favorite. So much so that I decided to spend some time combining S1 Ep7 and S2 Ep7 into a Fan episode highlighting the parralels in Jinx and Ekko's relationship. It's trully beautifully what they did with this show.
great video, only completed s2 last night, and dude ur reference are so on point XD, though imo ig s2 is lil fast paced, maybe a ep or so might have better rather than having a s3 but due to consistence of doing it within 9 eps also great, really cant wait for other projects from riot
Maddie threw me off guard. Overall I think that while this act was great I feel like it was a little rushed, especially the last episode. Fantastic video bro!!!
Pretty sure it was both VI and Jayce. Either Jayce (and Caitlin) also died in the explosion. Remember in season 1, they were both almost caught in the explosion. If Jayce didn't die, could've been banished from Piltover after the accident, since this time there were actual casualties. Either way both Jayce and VI seemed like the once who pushed the current state of events. Even if Jayce stopped with hex tech, Vi would've still turned herself in, leading to Vander getting arrested, and Silco taking over Zaun with shimmer.
when you emphasized vi dying is the reason why we get good end made me remember ambessa's line "kill only one part" for some reason (during flashback with mel in S1 I didn't remember everything)
Loris was just the most prominent of several characters that were highlighted to show the brutality, and sometimes heroism of war. Other notables: Fish guy and Piano guy both survive doing acts of heroism, tattoo guy was another one who died after we saw him sending his family away, and of course the Jinxer who was the band chick that Mylo was into in the alternate dimension. I think adding so much context to Loris, showing him to be a good person that walks away from the fascists and supports Vi during her dark time, only to die before being able to destroy the egg and the random Piano guy doing it really highlights the chaos of war.
Fine... you got me. I subcribe. Act 3 was peak! The whole show was. What I noticed later is that maddie was aiming for Caitlyn's neck... so she would not have died instantly, but rather slowly.
actually cait died in the explosion too (I think Jayce also) in the AU. so its not because of the death of vi that made everything better. it’s the death of 2 kids from piltover and zaun that stopped the progress of hextech plus hemier’s contributions that made the AU better
My theory is that Jayce survived but the guilt of being partially the cause of the dead of children drove him from hextech to invent the things that helped clean Zaun's air, once the smog is clean there is more clarity and sunlight meaning a lot less crime and with that less reason for conflict.
Agree tbh- i think jayce would've killed himself because in (i forget what episode, but it was in the first 3) he tried to kill himself before and the reason he didn't follow through was because of viktor. So without viktor by his side, which in a case where a kid died, it would be less of "look at the cool magic crystals!" and more "oh my god the magic crystals killed a kid" viktor would probably not be at the scene, or at least not actively present. So it makes sense that jayce would kill himself to me because he didn't have viktor, but to be honest im not good at lore so if ur reading this and think im utterly wrong please critique me
Was it confirmed that cait died in the AU? I think that her parents who have very big impact in the government would have start a war immidiately with zaun to revenge her daughter.
Loved it as well! The blinding cait: it’s not just about her being blind already, but Ambessa taught her 4 things to win on the battlefield, the fourth being … sacrifice! So she sacrificed her eye to win the battle! :)
Like the people who hate on Vi and Cait scene. Everything said in Arcane could be a reference to whats to come. Jinx says to Vi "I know youre sweet on her, hope you got a chance to.. you know.. before" What we can take from that is that they havent been intimate before until the scene in prison. THATS where it finally happens before... you know .... THE WAR? The details arcane shows us are important everytime. Those seconds and the closeup of Vi unbucking Caitlyn pants are important. We are seeing pure love how stressed Vi is getting and how excited cait gets as she starts to nervous laughing. We can SEE how much both of them wanted this thats why it is good. There is a big difference in making love and having sex(do it once yourself and you will understand the difference). We even see Cait be a little hesitanet because of Maddie but Vi literally throws her self in Cait arms kssing her, And when they both have the top off how Vi janks Caitlyn close. The scene is meant to show real passion, that Caitlyn have gotten to know Vi better than anyone but taking the guards away so she can see Jinx, vi not holding back like she did when Jinx is reading Vanders letter to Silco. Stop caring about the sex in the scene and see the passion they show towards eachother, See the tiny and small details COME ON If youre one of those who says unnecessary you have missed the point of the scene.
its not cos of vi dying that everything is fine, its because the explosion was so huge that not only vi died but somehow jayce (even if he was alive) saw the destruction of hex crystals. thus its all because hextech was never invented in this timeline, not because vi died
VI dying in the heist in S1EP1 seems to be the best thing that can happen to so many alternative timelines and universes. Apart from the obvious consequences, I also bet that accident was the reason for Silco reaching out to Vander to forgive and reconcile
Started to fall into arcane fandom and as much good there is god people can't be happy about anything. Glad to see someone as enthusiast as me about this ending
I wouldnt say it was perfect, but it was certainly close enough. I truly hope they plan on going through with sister series and expand the universe. Maybe one day they will have an Avengers type verse build and unite for a final epic battle.
How? We know that Jinx has literally been living on the propeller that was used to build the war ballon. That added with the resources that the firelights have makes it perfectly possible for them to build an airship. + We also know that there was supposed to be multiple screens between Jinx and Ekko where they prepare for the battle so no. I don't really see how it's Deus ex machina. A Deux ex machina would be if Jinx suddenly remembered that she had a world rune in her back pocket and used it's god like power to defeat Noxus and Viktor just like that.
I think it was also confirmed that silco found the letter in that timeline

This was the best analysis vid I’ve watched. I was giggling the entire time LMFAO
THANK YOU for just getting hype about all the amazing things that happened🙏 you da man🥳
Maddie tempered with the bomb that was for Viktor's cocoon.
I still can't get over how cute your avatar is
I got pretty much everything i wanted from S2. yeah, the pacing was fast and each episode could use additional 10 minutes but the story and all plotlines are pretty clear. the ending worked well for all characters too imo.
I love how much chaos u have in your thoughts xd it reminds me of me and my friend talks about arcane and lore love it.
Episode 7 has for sure affected me more than any single piece of media has in many many years
You are really good at this.
I love the part where Jayce joins jinx and says "I'm joining your league
- yeah now we're really a league of legend"
When did he said that?
LMAOO THAT TOOK ME OF GUARD
So it’s still a mystery
Not to mention they said they will explore Viktor more in future shows (and I doubt it’s gonna be without Jayce tbh since they are basically two sides of same coin)
Disintegration in this universe is code for wormhole hypothesis.
While Ekko's in heaven. My guy Jayce was in hell 💀
I think that the intimate moments were really great in this act. Ekko and Jink. Vi and Caitlyn scene was perfect.
AU Powder’s hair at first looks really short showing she faces less trauma but the dance scene shows she still feels the weight from Vi’s death since her hair is actually longer than first shown where she bundled it up
Jayce n ekko experience reminds me of that drug trip scene in 22 jump street
Jinx is the big fat hero.
If you don't want to cry again after finall episode, don't look lyrics of ma mailleure ennemie (the song that plays while powder and ekko dancing). After looking lyrics O couldn't listen the song without crying.
I hope I didn't write wrong. English isn't my first language.
The Hex tech cargo railgun artillery was amazing.
I think your spot on: viktor had to teach Jayce a lesson
I loved this episode so much, and actually, is such a small and great detail, but seeing what the world could've be matchs with the song name in the last episode on season one when jinx shoot the massive bomb on the council
Great Video !
If you pause when jinx falls you can see a pink line indicating a shimmer teleport
Loved the Video. Personally Episode 7 was my favorite. So much so that I decided to spend some time combining S1 Ep7 and S2 Ep7 into a Fan episode highlighting the parralels in Jinx and Ekko's relationship. It's trully beautifully what they did with this show.
great video, only completed s2 last night, and dude ur reference are so on point XD,
though imo ig s2 is lil fast paced, maybe a ep or so might have better rather than having a s3 but due to consistence of doing it within 9 eps also great,
really cant wait for other projects from riot
Maddie threw me off guard. Overall I think that while this act was great I feel like it was a little rushed, especially the last episode. Fantastic video bro!!!
such a good video! greatly edited
To me it was really great I thought it was a perfect ending tbh but maybe it was better if there was 5-10 min more to wrap things up a little
I loved this video, great analisis 💖
TY!!! AFTER SO LONG, finally i found a content creator who actually know what is a yordle
Man this is underrated
The sole reason for the AU being so great wasn't because VI died, it was because Jayce never pursued HexTech.
Jayce and Viktor is transported into the star guardian universe where everyone is gay
This whole series is an animation masterpiece, it made me feel all the emotions
when you emphasized vi dying is the reason why we get good end made me remember ambessa's line "kill only one part" for some reason (during flashback with mel in S1 I didn't remember everything)
9:50 i was wachting this with my frieds and in this scene someone called her "woke kratos" and we all died laughing.
Fine... you got me. I subcribe. Act 3 was peak! The whole show was.
What I noticed later is that maddie was aiming for Caitlyn's neck... so she would not have died instantly, but rather slowly.
Happy about act3 also .. cant wait for the rest of the
Loris is SO COOL
On a shooting duty and can’t even shot
Shit broke my heart.
Arcane is humanity’s greatest achievement
actually cait died in the explosion too (I think Jayce also) in the AU. so its not because of the death of vi that made everything better. it’s the death of 2 kids from piltover and zaun that stopped the progress of hextech plus hemier’s contributions that made the AU better
Love your breakdown and yeah, this season was perfect, sad ending but hopeful too.
Stop caring about the sex in the scene and see the passion they show towards eachother, See the tiny and small details COME ON
If youre one of those who says unnecessary you have missed the point of the scene.
acceleration rune controls acceleration, both increase and decrease, that's why the gauntlet has anti gravity effect and can launch vi so fast
jinx is my favorite character, i identify so much with her story and character
its not cos of vi dying that everything is fine, its because the explosion was so huge that not only vi died but somehow jayce (even if he was alive) saw the destruction of hex crystals. thus its all because hextech was never invented in this timeline, not because vi died
VI dying in the heist in S1EP1 seems to be the best thing that can happen to so many alternative timelines and universes. Apart from the obvious consequences, I also bet that accident was the reason for Silco reaching out to Vander to forgive and reconcile
I hope if another season or a continuation comes that the quality of the story and graphics and sounds will stay the same
Started to fall into arcane fandom and as much good there is god people can't be happy about anything. Glad to see someone as enthusiast as me about this ending
Glad to have found someone who shaer my opinion abuot S2
This act was so bloody good omg 🔥🔥
6:32 Brother man, lemme tell you something, this is the whole reason the show even exists let's be so fr rn... of course it is necessary.
I went into the season, there is no saving Jinx. To there is no saving Vi.
It Changed everyone’s life’s especially Episode 7!
4:42 I feel like he might be a "replacement Vander" for Vi.
FINALLY A POSITIVE OUTLOCK ON THE SERIES/ ACT 3. 😊
10:39 could Mel be a pre-version of Karma, then? now that I think it, her magic works similarly to the champiom
I was actually thinking the same thing. Just don’t know how they would work in the whole “spirit of Ionia thing” lol
OH YOURE RIGHT, I FORGOT ABOUT THAT. HEIMERDINGER IS ALIVE. I was too shocked to process what happened that I forgot about that fact T0T0T0T
I wouldnt say it was perfect, but it was certainly close enough. I truly hope they plan on going through with sister series and expand the universe. Maybe one day they will have an Avengers type verse build and unite for a final epic battle.
That domain expansion, though ! 😯
I'm glad I'm not the only one who was this affected by act 3
Ok for Heimer but I'm not sure the yordle lore planned for when two yordels are superimposed due to timelines jumps
Ekko and heimerdinger on Minecraft peaceful mode while Jayce is on a dark souls 3 deathless playthrough 😭
The war balloon is a perfect deus ex machina and that alone (and it's by far not the only flaw of season 2) costs the titel of a perfect season
