I'm from the UK. I would like to look at properties in Playa and Tulum. I am looking for property under 150k usd. I would like 1. Financing and 2. A break down of all costs. Thanks

Monica, I was born in Mexico but became a US citizen when I was young, can I buy water front property as a Mexican citizen? or former Mexican citizen? I don't have dual citizenship but I was born in CDMX
Mexican and US citizens alike can purchase waterfront property in Mexico. Mexican nationals can buy directly, using their passport or birth certificate as proof of citizenship. US citizens, on the other hand, need to purchase through a fideicomiso (bank trust). This trust allows foreigners to own property in restricted zones, including coastal areas. If you're a Mexican citizen living abroad, you can still buy property as a national, provided you have a valid Mexican passport or can obtain one using your birth certificate.
Another great video thank you.
