That Q2 is ultra rare. I only know of one other that is not in a Museum. Some parts shouldnʻt be too hard to find as Rootes used a lot of car parts in their trucks, etc. Motors similar to Humber Hawk / Snipe, etc...As a Commer fan (spelt incorrectly in the video!) I wish you a lot of luck. Someone had a manual for a Q2 on one of the Commer Rebuild Facebook pages lately.
Yes it's very rare. Never noticed the spelling mistake, not going to change it low, lol. This is the 8 foot wheelbase Commer. I think the manual floating about is for the 10 foot wheel base.
I have a Handbook and a clutch plate. I won't know about the starter until I start pulling it apart. But feel free to email me a list of parts and we might do business in the future. Thanks. rosscombatcars@gmail.com
Thanks man, Technically, I do it full time but I do have other responsibilities. Only started the channel this year and I find it absorbs the work hours quite quickly.
Your work looks spot on show room stuff even, that Commer will be interesting.
Thanks man!!

Looking forward to seeing the Q2 progress...

You certainly like a challenge !
Yes, some times people find it hard to look past the rust and see it's potential.
Fantastic level of workmanship I see there. Glad I stumbled on your channel. Do you do this restoration full time or is it a side business?
