Dimash has different versions from Diva dance and in some he has a very high whistle note. (Sounds like a whistle.)
Funfact: Dimash holds the worldrecord for highest and longest note in a live performance. And Dimash is much more than only range, he is multy talented. He has a lot of talent but also a lot of training.

What fascinates me the most is, that he sang this song in his concert where he had already been on stage for almost 2 hours. Just unbelievabel🤯.

He sings with Li Yugang, a great Chinese Opera singer who usually plays a female in classic Peking opera. He is a very famous singer in China. The two harmonize so well together. Dimash did sing the Il dolce suono aria in an earlier performance in 2015 or 2016 (only a fan cam version is available). Dimash changed the infamous 11-note bar to different versions in 1) Confessa + Diva Dance and 2) Drunken Concubine + Diva Dance.

To be fair Dimash did rearrange this, so it was possible to sing and make it flow better. There is a fan cam version from a different performance where Dimash sings the aria in his tenor voice and then continues into the Diva Dance part exactly as you are hearing it here. It's not a great quality video, but still fun to watch.

Just FYI Dimash did it perfectly he was a half step down but that is really nothing literally. If you go watch the movie video the only thing he didn't do was make computer sounds 😂😂😂. Remember it was written for a female opera singer that could not really sing it, they had to do it in pieces and message it together with a computer, and this man did it completely with his voice and microphone. He was definitely not supposed to be able to sing it being a man and written to be too complicated in note changes for anyone to sing. He didn't sing the intro because why, nothing hard about that, he did the part they said was impossible.

Yes, he changed the song a little. There is one run no human can sing - since no one can sing so many notes in one or two seconds with pauses in between. 😅 But he has the best approximation of all singers I have heard sing this song. But additionally he sings the low parts lower and the end part higher than the original. 🤩🥰
And he probably chose to sing the one short part differently, because it would not have sounded as good as he wanted it to sound.
But he also made it more beautiful and those minor changes are still impossible to sing for everyone else. 😉
Either way, it’s a stellar performance. They should honestly do a studio recording of him and his voice in overlay. It would be EPIC!

The movie used a synthesizer for parts of the song. Dimash sings it, himself with no "assistance".

There are videos of him as a teenager singing the aria then diva dance. Google it and there are 2 or 3 to choose from but not all good video but the sound is fine ❤ other videos are out there of him and the alien singing together. Again a quick Google search ❤

There is a fan made video somewhere of Dimash singing along side the blue alien lady and the aria is done by Dimash there. However, it is a very old video taken at a show with an old camera and you really can not see him during the aria. It is his voice. I will try and search for it but it is not easy to find.
Nice! Apparently he sings this a semi-tone lower than the original (or something like that). He also does indeed change that part you were talking about but ends on a higher note than the original. (At least this is what I remember from another reactor.)

That's the point that the song was made to be impossible for a human voice to sing through computer manipulation but Dimash has come the closest ever to the original of all singers. I don't think I've even seen another male singer even attempt this song.

Very interesting that he sings in the same key too! This is a rare video of a performance in 2016, in a place called Ufa, a city in Russia. It was before his viral fame and hence not much watched or reacted to! , but I think it’s beautiful, even though it’s a fan cam and obviously the sound quality is not excellent! 🙂

I remind you that the version of the movie is not a real voice, it was made artificially with software, the character in the movie only plays a playback and surely would have been repeated many times until achieving what was desired, and he is doing it completely live without cheating. nor cardboard. I knew it wasn’t really when I saw the movie. But you can tell that they took a clip of the singers voice and did the digital work to make this impossible song “sung.” Since Dimash can actually do it, I think it would be cool to have some of the digital layering of his own voice with it. Or…do a remake with him as the character. 😉
Dimash made several changes to this song so as to make it singable and to add some things not scored in the original. First, he sings it a semitone lower than the original. Second, the run has been simplified in the sense that certain unsingable quick octave and ninth jumps have been removed. Third, he sings the first deep part an octave lower than the soprano was supposed to do - just because he can. Fourth, he sings the final coloratura an octave higher than the soprano original. Fifth, while the original finishes with a B5, he adds a D6 at the end. So you will hear differences compared to the original. Sixth, although Dimash ultimately sang all this, this was a playback performance.

This concert was given to him by his hometown as a welcome home and as a thank you for his great success in China. 30,000 people from all over the world took part.

That is the song that should be unsingable. In the movie it is electronically edited. Many singers (male or female) have tried. Nobody sings this song as perfectly as Dimash. He is the only person in the world who sings this song flawlessly. He reaches the highs as well as the lows effortlessly and he delivers all riffs and runs and staccati accurately.

To be fair, he has had to change 1 little bit that nobody really could ever do- but otherwise its perfect and way better than all the other attempts anyone has ever done - and they women! :) Actually the super low notes are some of the hardest parts for some of the ladies who can hit those really high notes- they cant get down low - being a guy gives Dimash an edge there.
