one of the depressing years of history actually . In human history there are 30 years wars ,453 AD fall of the western roman empire ,century of humiliation in china ,Fall of Aztecs ,Fall of Neo Mayans ,Fall of Sasanids and spread of Islam ,First world war. second world war and may more are also very depressing .
Definitely a great mod. Been playing it nonstop playing as the moors. Been an immersive and enjoyable playing experience thus far. Unit models are also great to look at visually. Campaign scripts is also a plus.
Been playing this mod since the day of release, and I must say the textures of the unit models are the absolute best that I’ve seen of any Total War mod to date. Even as an avid DEI player, the textures of the armours are the most crisp I’ve ever seen. This just makes me that much more hyped for Anno Domini 1051, it’s going to be a truly special mod when released.
@@davidr80s Honestly, I’ve never seen textures like it, and to not have the shiny reflective effect that plagues most other unit models in Attila, it’s seriously impressive.
Glad you got to this! They have a “Rome Era” sub mod for it that makes it very hard lol the models are so great. Fun mod, just wish they had it on the GC map
I played with Theme of Lombardi, taking over modern day Italy and puppeting the Papacy and rebuilding the Byzantine papacy as role play. That was so fun to play
This is looking really good! I did spot that some of the faction descriptions are a bit off, though. The Umayyad one is anachronistic and exaggerated. But on the whole this mod looks excellent!
I've been trying it myself. A bit disappointed it doesn't fix my only issue with Charlemagne that was the bland building chains and complete lack of choice, everything is built in the same way in pretty much every province. Also a bit disappointed they didn't have new unit cards, it's all vanilla AoC which is a disservice to the really cool looking units they've created. I don't want to be negative, but at times it feels like a reskin more than a new campaign. I know they are still working on it, but those areas I mentioned could definitely use some work, and maybe flesh out factions a bit more, rosters are still very limited like in vanilla AoC.
I been playing Anno Domini 1257 AD, an Overhaul mod for M&B Warband. I feel like i'm playing TW Medieval 2, it's great. They even have an Anno Domini 1259 AD for Bannerlord
M&B could be usable base for strategy game. It needs fatigue system and somehow working ai and user interface should support multiple units handling - it is terrible in Bannerlord.
Played mod briefly good mod i have uploaded a small unit submod which adds six new units two for Saxons two for vikings and normans and three for frankish factions. Will add more later on at some point I been using thrones of britannia tunics to armour to beards etc. I now got permission to use Anno Domini models and textures etc now. It's a work in progress
They probably forgot what become of Roland people). They must add same bonuses as Dublin except no harm at winter. For 1 reason. Historical roleplay. And thankfully we have Sicily and south Italy.
Killing pope with Moors is fun. In Med 2 pope spawns every other turn or was it evry and I Got special pope popping group who put that guy back in Hell with minimun cost.
I wonder if its possible to add new settlements in the age of charlemagne map , that would be really awesome. for some reason my rtx3070 refuses to go over 40-50 fps on the original attila campaign , but when playing the charlemagne dlc its so much better in terms of performance. its a shame CA dont/cant fix the performance issues on attila and the endless turn time after like 40-50 turns.
Charlemagne map is almost perfect, perfect size and ratio (TLRoman is a bit too big, vanilla too small)... pity they didn't include the Balkans and perhaps Tunisia
Great mod but unit diversity both functionally and visually for some of the Northern European kingdoms would go along way specifically Northumbria Wessex and France
Look great this mod .... there's another mod coming soon by a team called CA ..that will bring end of the broze age too live in TW Attila .... lets hope its as good as this.. ..
The campaign is amazing and the units look awesome BUT I think its important to mention that they used the same models for a lot of units. That breaks immersion a bit for me
Just played this mod, playing as cordoba, wtf I made an alliance with the Magyar faction but out of no where 2 stacks of horse archers just show up in SPAIN! They just teleported over there from thin air and those Magyars declare war on me. This is worse than the Huns, at least they don’t teleport .
Hej nice video just wanna say hope you soon make another video on manorlords cant wait for it too come out. also cant belive it is only made by one guy(or does he have a team?). Have a nice day
This is a kind of mod that I absolutely Love. The level of unit detail and especially historical accuracy, I am cooming. I dont mind the number of units or so, they are beautiful. However gameplay wise they are confusing. Every unit culturally is the same, meaning germanic factions are all the same. It would be awesome that just, lets say shield patterns and coloring would be exclusive to a faction. Nothing more just Shields, everything is perfect as it is. The other thing is that it runs like dogshit, Im not sure if it is my PC , could you guys help me out ? I have Ryzen 9 and RTX 4080 but maan the FPS is garbage. And Im running Cyperpunk on ULTRA with steady 100+FPS
@@123456gordon yeah but I can't hold a stabel 60fsp all I want is a solid 60 at least with good graphics. Wit good hardware that should be posible right?
You will hardly see any change in performance for this game. The engine is busted for Attila, it doesn't take advantage of multicore CPUs, the VRAM limit is 3GB if I'm not mistaken, and there's probably a RAM limit too. The VRAM issue can be "fixed" tweaking Attila's ini file, the CPU cannot though. It is what it is, unless CA steps up and updates the engine specifically for this game, no matter what PC you have the game will still perform horribly.
If you have say 4 thousand troops on the field even at low settings I doubt you'll go above 50 fps, and that if you get a "optimized" battle map. Zoomed in, you'll still get like 30 fps. If you wanna upgrade your PC for this game specifically, you'll be disappointed.
Hmm i would welcome some of these units in GC in rome2 too❤ I have many factions moded.. norsemen, francia, seubians, bulgaria, pharaoh s egypt units.. many factions in their ,,prime,, i quess but rome fall behind in expanding&winnings😅 These units looking impresive medieval style❤

Shame they don't have it for thr attila map. I want to play this as eastern rome and enjoy the byzantine reconquista century!
We still get to reconquer the western half of the empire with the thema of Lombardia. We get to make Justinian's dream come true.
at least the game is more stable when playing with the age of charlemagne dlc
@@hardric6284 That's a small consolation, but I want the full might of the empire striking at the saracens on the eastern front!

I played with Theme of Lombardi, taking over modern day Italy and puppeting the Papacy and rebuilding the Byzantine papacy as role play. That was so fun to play
Wish they had made use of the new campaign modding tool to expand the campaign map eastward and southward a bit.

I love how creative the mods names get after a while..."Anno Domini 919 AD". "Europe 1100 AD", or anything as generic as this.
