Thank you to Gal Gadot (she was wonderful as Wonder Woman), I’m excited with Lanterns (I’m with you Our Movie news with Superman, Lanterns and Batman being the most hyped projects personally for me), I be down for Anthony Starr as Booster gold but I would personally love to see him as Reverse Flash more but I’m am not down to see Glen Powell as Batman personally. Also John Cena is just perfect as peacemaker & congrats on the new actors that just got casted for Superman.

Zaslav touted the Trinity last year but Gunn has not followed through. A WW film on the backburner, B&B not happening until 2026 and Superman happening but mostly being used to launch the DCU and other characters. People are not clamoring for another Superman film. batman should have been first and later introduce Superman. I suspect the focus of the DCU will be Supergirl, in terms of a female protagonist, and not WW. Plus, Gunn would not outright deny the rumor that Superman will not play a big part in the DCU while Supergirl has been described as the key to the DCU. I suspect Superman won't get follow-up films and WW will be lucky to get a film in Chapter 2 of the DCU vut instead get cameos in other character's films to launch those franchises. Same possibly for WW,

Agreed that I enjoyed Gal in the role of Diana and while it would've been nice to see her pop up again, it makes sense that there'd be a recast. But by the same token, I and I'm sure many others maintain that if there's going to be a reboot, it should be a clean sweep without any DCEU actors returning to play the same role, with the possible exception of Xolo Maridueña as Blue Beetle since that film doesn't really fit into any continuity.

In ten years in 2034 DC characters become public domain, so if the actors were opened to returning to tell a future state storyline for happened to these characters, or a sequel which takes place in the future. They could make Zack Snyder's Justice league 2 then if Gunn does not allow it to become a reality as an Else-worlds story.

2-The old DCEU had no concrete plan
3-The old DCEU was so inconsistent

“I know the pressure we were getting from Warner Bros., which was, ‘We need our MCU! We need our MCU!’ And I was like let’s not run before we walk,” Goyer said. “The other thing that was difficult at the time was there was this revolving door of executives at Warner Bros. and DC. Every 18 months someone new would come in. We were just getting whiplash. Every new person was like, ‘We’re going to go bigger!'”
“I remember at one point the person running Warner Bros. at the time had this release that pitched the next 20 movies over the next 10 years. But none of them had been written yet!” Goyer continued in amazement. “It was crazy how much architecture was being built on air… This is not how you build a house.”
Goyer worked closely with Christopher Nolan on the “Dark Knight” trilogy and the two conceived of a Superman movie that would become Zack Snyder’s 2013 tentpole “Man of Steel.” Goyer wrote the film. But Cavill never got the chance to lead another standalone Superman movie, as the remainder of his time in the crimson cape was spent in universe-building tentpoles such as “Batman v Superman” and “Justice League.”
Prior to getting Batman and Superman movies off the ground, Goyer wrote all three “Blade” movies starring Wesley Snipes. He even directed the third film, “Blade: Trinity.
” He confirmed on the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast that he originally worked with David Fincher on bringing a “Blade” project to life.
“I developed a draft with Fincher before he had done ‘Se7en,'” Goyer said. “I think he had done ‘Alien 3’ and maybe he was developing ‘Se7en.’ I developed a draft with him. I remember going to our producers office… There was this giant conference table. Fincher laid out 40 to 50 books of photography and art with post-it notes inside them. He said, ‘This is the movie.'”
“[Fincher] took us on a two-hour tour around the table of the aesthetics of this scene, that character,” Goyer continued. “It was such a fully fleshed out visual pitch… I had never seen something like that before. A lot of that thinking infused my further revisions.”
Stephen Norrington ended up directing “Blade” and Fincher moved on to “Se7en” when the project hit roadblocks in development

WW is the third most lucrative DC film franchise after Batman and Joker, WW made 200 million plus while MOS made 40 million. Plus, WW cost 50 million less to make. The DCU should have started with a Batman film - no one is clamoring for another Superman film - and later introduce Superman. WW should have been the 2nd film. WW84 failed because Jenkins was given total control and it released (limited) during Covid. Gadot is the most beloved of the DCEU actors - yes she isn't the best actor, but neither is Cavill.

I'm more surprised that after all this time, there's still people wondering if Gal is going to come back in the role. I loved Gal as WW but I wasn't expecting her back and have long moved on from the possibility of it happening. Think of how awkward it would feel with new actors as Superman & Batman but Gal still playing Wonder Woman alongside them in the DCU even if it's a different version? The moment I heard "reboot", I was expecting a clean slate (despite Viola Davis returning as Waller). Even continuing Gal's Wonder Woman under the Elseworlds label would feel strange because then some people would be wondering why they chose to continue that instead of doing ZSJL 2 & 3. I'm not expecting a live action WW until after this Paradise Lost series happens whenever that is.
