Good review except you didn't mention the difference between the free and paid subscription access. What do you get in the free version and what do you get if you pay the $16/month they are asking for.
@@scottcuttre9705 I'm sorry, I'm can't really answer that for you. My son's choices meant that it wasn't worth it for me, but your circumstances are different, and you'll need to make that decision for you. If you're having doubts I'd keep looking. Maybe give yourself a couple of weeks to find something else. DribbleUp will still be there if you don't find an alternative.
I’m curious if you can elaborate on the positive portion of your review. Specifically, why is it most beneficial to young players ages 8-14. I’ve been inclined to view this as more of a tool to improve home/individual practice for young players. It should be an excellent tool for developing coordination in young players which has become one of the big struggles along the road to building their technique. Do you agree? Other benefits for young players?
I have played more than half my life and now coach. This is still a good (not great, tool). If it can be made fun for a beginner they'll use it. If they use it. It can build muscle memory for a few techniques for touches that can absolutely translate to real game play/practical use, specifically in touches that build into getting around defenders. It is expensive. But they have a half off offer right now. Also if the new kid enjoys doing it and it's used indoors when the weather won't permit outdoor practice... I think it's an okay buy.
@@sportstechnologyblog271 In fairness, the "ball price" is really the "system price". The app looks like it would be non-trivial to develop, and most people won't spend $90 on an app alone.
BUY BUY BUY In the uk Most Prem acadamies work off how many touches you get in any training session this is a superb reason to buy this ball and app, i have nothing to do with dribble up but this guy needs to understand Football...clown of a review
Why did my dad buy this, it's shit. I now have this and it scans for shit, the results are shit and even with the update, it's shit, we should have checked reviews first.
I'm just going to be honest. Y'all, this has been a really rough year, for me and honestly. I watched so many reviews, I quickly skipped around this. Is it a no-go???? AM I NEEDING TO SPEND MY MONEY ON something else??? My daughter is 11 and really needs help in this dept. I help as much as possible, but I'm not a coach! Dept. I

Thanks man didn’t know that.
You saved me $90! I almost hit purchase and thought I should check a review.
Is there another app / ball that can be used in the same way but that is better?
Two years later, any changes to your opinion?
Thank you. That is exactly the in depth review I was looking for. Is another item a competitor?
Excellent review: Thank you! You have persuaded me that I should keep looking. 👍😳
Did you find a better product
@@scottcuttre9705 Hi, no with Lockdown and my son deciding to quit football to focus on school and rugby I didn't look much further.

Excellent review, thanks.
Great review, thanks 😊 👍
Thank you for making this! So helpful
I appreciate your support
Really wanted you to say it was worth the price😪
In my opinion for the ball to justify the price it would have to offer more value than what it currently provides
Its shit anyway
