That is a great build, thank you! I found out that running TC2 or 1 is significantly faster for me though (1:48.4 is my PB with TC2 and 1:47:6 with TC1, while getting over 1:50 with TC3). It lets you avoid turbo lag when coming out of the wall ride, giving you a more speed on the straight. @@peniu100 nice one that's very good. You have ro manage fuel as it just wastes a lot in the high mixture rates and you don't go a lot faster. Then at some point you find yourself short on fuel. I get stuck behind another that I would have otherwise passed and then another gets in the way. Usually the worst bit for me is after the pit stop. I see there haven't been comments here in a while so I'll go ahead and share my experience with this. I got my copy of GT7 around the same time this video was published and by the time I'd unlocked the Legendary dealership, the Escudo was already gone. I decided to try the race anyway with an R32 Skyline tuned down to exactly 600 PP. The result was a decent success. Of course, you can't expect to unleash absolute destruction with an R32 the way you can with the Escudo, but it's good enough to finish the race in around 26 minutes total, still making you effectively 1,650,000 credits in less than one hour. The car is fast enough to overtake 14 out of 15 opponents on the first straight and then you overtake the remaining opponent by wallriding on the first corner. The fastest lap time I've managed to do is just under 2:06, and I'm far from the most skilled GT7 player out there, so you can probably do even faster, but even during my first 4-5 attempts when I was only doing 2:08-2:09 laps at best, I was so much ahead of the competition that no one could overtake me even while I'm in the pit (at the end of the 7th lap, at which point I refill to roughly 79% which is precisely enough to get me to the end of the race). If you're fast enough, by lap 11 you start lapping opponents from the rear of the pack, and that's where you need to be extra careful not to bump into them so as not to lose the clean race bonus (they tend to be pretty annoying in the Expressway's tight sections and block the way especially in the second "wallridable" corner). Obviously this is not as efficient as shown in the video with an Escudo, and there might be even faster ways, but this method definitely helped a beginner like me at least put up a little fight against the game's abhorrent economy, so I hope it can help someone else too.
