I think personally the problem is bro, that because The Penguin has now won so many awards and with how well received The Batman was, James Gunn seems to maybe be backtracking already on his plan for the DCU. Surely it would make sense to incorporate, Matt Reeves, Batman, and Penguin, and that world in the DCU so they are already established and people know who they are instead of giving us another version of Batman that we don’t necessarily need. Plus, with Creatures & Commandos, realistically HOW MANY PEOPLE have watched that show? I also think the big problem with the DCU is that off rip James Gunn announced around 10 projects which I think is a huge mistake as I personally feel he should’ve maybe announced to offer a project and that is it and let the excitement and build up work for people instead of cramming us with massive amounts of content already and so much movie and TV shows that are already saturated.

Yeah I agree that the plans are definitely shifting with DC. I enjoyed Creature Commandos but it’s not getting a lot of buzz.

Yeah I think you’re right on that for sure. They still say they are shooting this year though.. we shall see
