CSX M433 with a Geep engine leading and trailing through New Bridge Rd (4/23/23)

  • This video was at the New Bridge Rd RR Crossing in Bergenfield NJ along the CSX river line. I caught CSX M433 come south through this cool crossing. As you can see in the video, a bike rider went around the lowered gate and came close t getting hit. Some people are just impatient and don't understand how quick the train will get there even if it looks far. This was a very cool catch because there were two Geep engines, one leading! This is a very cool crossing with two cantilevers with Incandescent lights! These lights are rare to find. The lights on the left are GRS Lex-C lights. The NEG E-bell here rings while the gates are down. Unfortunately, this crossing is planned for an upgrade soon. I hope this cool crossing lasts!

    A few things, the first engine is 8833, an SD40-2, and secondly the correct spelling when referring to the locomotive is a "Geep" as per the "GP" name.
    Not trying to throw shade just offering some corrections. Many thanks for the upload, I remember watching the Bergenfield NJ live camera back in the day.
