Have you danced recently on a conveyor belt, Steve?

While it's an amusing image to consider, I'd like to stay on my feet, thank you. Never had to wear a seat-pillow when skating on ice, but the fact is, I was born pretty much a non-dancer. Except for folk dances, where you can learn steps and interact in patterns. That's my single dancing experience---enjoyable! Bob and I used to climb around on factory conveyor belts at Durham rock crusher (Jr. High School pranks) and climb into the huge tumblers---(no one worked there on Saturday or Sunday.) But no dancing! Hm-m-m, thinking now of a possible flash mob routine. Thanks, Terry, for tuning in to the video!

@@stevenriihikoski1750 Yikes! I am glad no one decided to go in to work as a surprise while you guys were crawling around in there! Yikes! (But that does sound fun!)

Well, now...it was a bit suspenseful to be in an empty factory, hoping nobody would catch us, acting like we were in a fun house. Next we would go out further into the rock quarry and sit on the cliffs over the frog-filled quarry pond, throwing rocks at the cliffs below to cause small avalanches. Can't "fix" DUMB. Another factory in Tigard had conveyor belts kind of like in this video, but quite old. There were some cool metal 6-point stars that we collected, which I think were used to clean off the machinery gears and rollers. Nobody ever came while we were exploring, luckily. @@terryvarner7338

I would not have thought of combining the two tunes. It’s on the level of that Giant Steps/ Donna Lee mashup, Scarborough Faire/Canticle, or Rose/Shalom. What isn’t possible?

D'accord, mon frere. I once discovered that "How Much Is That Doggie In The Window?" and "Where, Oh, Where Has My Little Dog Gone?" can be partnered. Not only that, both titles are framed as a question, and are EXTREMELY wordy. Oh, yeah...they are both about DOGS!
This video's compositions work very well together, I found. Maybe a case of "separated at birth", except that these twins were born 45 years apart.

Oh, one other observation..."Rose" and "Shalom" rounds sound great together, as you say....but another, 3rd, round can be intertwined with them----("Marguerite" : Marguerite, come feed your black sow, all on a misty morning / come feed the dinner sow, come, come, come / or else you will have nary a crumb!)

Now, that’s something I’d like to hear, if you get a round to it!

I'm way ahead of you...a couple of hours ago, I made an arrangement sketch for this trio of rounds, including 3 different combos of recorder flutes (soprano, alto, tenor) to use. It may take a while, as I have 2 new music projects going at the same time. Stay tuned---but plug yer ears, 'cause I'm going to shoot off 3 canons.
