I've had the walnut one from Greece, and the the pistachio one from Turkey; and they are very good; but this almond cardamom one is very intriguing. I will make this one next time. Thank you for the demo.

After you done assembling it, put the tray in the fridge and let the butter get hard, 20-30 minutes or so, then it's much easier to cut! And don't forget to place a damp towel over it while it's in the fridge!

Ali Aziz baklava is anatolian origin not persian or arab. Baklava is Byziantian and greek origin

yes, you can all that. and make it your own, I have made it this way too, and it is good. The reason i did it that way because that was the way traditionally done.
