Mini fridge in garage, put some drinks so when you’re going out grab a drink or doing yardwork get a cold drink. The bin could Be put downstairs in the vacuum closet to hold cleaning products and extra paper towels etc !
That's exactly what I was thinking. Max needs to recycle those items at the apartment in another area. Once you get rid of something, it will cost you to get it again. Also, return the shower curtain rod and just get the expandable one. It's going to take some time for Max to stop and think about what he has, what he needs, etc. Keep a note pad by the fridge and when you run out of something you write it down. With 3 people in the house, that is going to be happening more than you think. Stock up on toiletries, kitchen items, etc. While Tristan and Alex have lived on their own, Max is trying to be too cheap and it will cost him in the long run. Enjoy the experience and spend a little money on yourself.
you should use the rack downstairs to keep the dog supplies organized: toys, leashes, collars, wet wipes, first aid kit, poop bags, etc I wouldn't put money into sprucing up the backyard with grass and especially paver stones for a walkway. it's a rental after all...
House is awesome! You could put the mini fridge either in the garage or on the back porch and the metal bins in your room could go in the garage for helmets, gloves, oil, parts, etc. You'll all figure it out!!

Since they are in the process of selling the house, not sure if they want to decorate 2 more rooms just to have to take it down.

I am 65 years old and moved into my own apartment.i also had nothing. So for a place to sit I bought two camping chair.its coming together a little at a time
Congrats Max. I have a couple tips for a first time buyer. Rent to own or land contract. Or there's a farmers home loan ( Hud) . That's what I did. Go to a realtor and ask about hud housing for 1st time buyers. Just a thought. Good luck and Congrats again.

Something I always advise young men, when they move is once you've got the things you feel would be useful to yourselves, start thinking about guests, particularly your younger sisters, who may come and visit/ stay. Crystal can help you pop a 'monthly bag' for anyone visiting who gets caught out, with any sanitary items that she feels may be suitable, pop them in a cute little bag, chuck them in a cupboard and forget about them until needed. :) -one gent I worked with popped a little hot water bottle, along with some dark stretchy tracky bottoms in case of any accidents together with it too, which was very thoughtful, You'd be surprised how often people get caught out, and how much it means to anyone in that situation to know there's a man in their life that's got it covered for them, no dramas, in a mature, thoughtful way. :) (Any women you choose to date, IF you choose to date women, would find it very cool that you were mature enough to think of those things too, so.. brownie points!)
