Word of warning about Porth beach. Do not let your kids play in the water from the outlet that runs onto the beach by the car park. My daughter played in it when she was two and infected by cryptospordium , causing her to be very ill for two weeks.
Been going to Porth for years. It was a favourite of ours when the kids were younger because the waves aren't as big and scary for them (perhaps because the beach has a narrow inlet and widens?). There's also Porth Island to explore on the north side of the beach and plenty of rock pools and small caves. At the lowest of tides, you can walk all the way to Newquay harbour from here if you fancy it (but you probably won't have time to walk back that way too!). Recommended for young families without dogs, definitely.
@@LoveSundays I've been coming down to Cornwall since I was a baby. Started off on Lusty Glaze when it was more of a family beach then moving around a bit; Crantock, Fistral, Perranporth, Mawgan Porth, etc. All lovely beaches and all offer something different.
Yes you’ve got to love Cornwall. I feel very fortunate to call it home. If you would like me to do an specific beach reviews please do let me know. I also have vlogs and exploring videos on the channel where I go to different place in Cornwall and sometimes Devon
Yes I know what you mean Terry. I try not to fly directly over people though. This was a difficult one because on the west side of the beach it touches a no fly zone due to Newquay airport so I had to keep the drone within the west side of the beach
Great video mate. You forgot to mention there’s an iron age village located along side porth beach on the headland. Something for people to explore whilst they are there 🤙🏼
