This performance is a must watch for Junsu fans. From XIA's 2014 Ballad & Musical Concert, here is a higher quality version of the song than the ones I could currently find on UA-cam. I love, love, LOVE the way he tenderly grabs her hand and looks into her eyes :')

This production is SUCH a vast improvement over the OG Broadway and European productions. In the original show Dracula is in love with Mina, for… reasons. It’s never explicitly stated. Which makes it random why she is the one that he is genuinely in love with and why she in turn would fall for him. And why it’s different from what he’s doing to Lucy. It was doubly confusing as a creative choice because the musical was so clearly influenced by the 1992 Francis Ford Coppola, film. So you think the first thing they’d include would be the reincarnated wife subplot to the love story. I’m so glad I bought it back for this version. It makes the relationship make so much more sense and makes Dracula a much more sympathetic character. It’s actually really devastating seeing him basically BEG for her to be with him he’s desperate and in love. And she seems genuinely torn. Fantastic performances! Also loving the choice to give Dracula red hair
This is just too beautiful! Both of them are that much into the scene and even cried. I wish to see his musical one day!

Hi there! I am absolutely OBSESSED with Junsu as Dracula and this performance…just wrecked me. I bawled my eyes out at this particular performance. Junsu looks so vulnerable…I have no words. I saw you give credits to people on tumblr and I tried to locate these blogs but I couldn’t find them? I’m desperate to chat to Junsu’s fans. Is this from a DVD? I absolutely have to own it!!

It’s such a shame that it’s impossible to buy this DVD anymore but I have found a number of Junsu’s performances from Dracula on YT and I have enjoyed them greatly. Junsu is an amazing artist, truly unique and I am even more crazy about him now than I was 4 months ago lol. The ultimate dream would be to see him live of course! Are you a fan?

Love it, but not a fan of the mic in front of their faces. Prefer the tiny stage mics, either on cheek or forehead. But I actually think they're not using wigs, so might be more complicated to apply?
With the phantom and dracula we love a murderer, who is secretly more sympathetic then expected. Why do we love these stories so much?
In the show, they have the tiny stage mics! But this is a concert performance, from Junsu's 2014 Ballad & Musical, so they are using irregular mics. That is why!
