Not gonna lie, growing up in Utah I will always love this park the most. It's no Thrill park at all, not big for it's rides, but the atmosphere is just amazing! I always get a season pass, and I'll come on a slow weekday, spend about 5 or 6 hours at Lagoon-a-beach and then ride rides till close! :D Love this place!
Actually, Lagoon has some great rides.
I'm 74 years old and I remember going to Lagoon when I was 5 years old. The Freed family has done a Fantastic job with this Amusement Park.

Keaton The Pro it's cool! I spend a large portion of my summers there, there are definitely somewhat ghetto parts, but it's still really cool

bridger ward DUDE LAGOON-A-BEACH IS AWESOME. There is a lazy river, water slides and pools obviously. The only downside is the pools have pebble floors and they are uncomfortable with your feet. Other than that Lagoon-A is cool.

I love lagoon, I've only been there once. And it was actually last week. But it was SO fun.

6:37 Flying Aces isn't a Larson Flying Scooters. Flying Aces was first at Lagoon in 1941 and is a Bisch Rocco designed and built ride.
Roller Coaster is also 6th oldest operating coaster in the world.
Utah Coaster Enthusiasts well maybe that would explain why they're significantly easier to snap!

Great job on the video. One minor suggestion...hold the camera up while you walk around. I know it is hard to film and talk and walk, but a lot of the time we see the ground and not the scenery you are describing.

hey so the entrance of the water park is not by where you were saying it is over by bombora's entrance.
You forgot a rapids ride in pioneer village in the back. It’s called rattlesnake rapids

I want to visit Lagoon Park for three reasons:
1) Theme park credit.
2) Cannibal credit.
3) Beaver Tail Pastries credit.
Still haven't tried the beaver tail pastries yet. I'll do it at some point!
You better get on it! It's the equivalent of having cinnamon bread at Dollywood! Maybe not as popular...lol...but I heard it's amazing!

I was at the park at the same time and day as you, and got there at about the same time as you, and never saw you, I went on the 22nd :(
Fact: Hydro Luge was purchased from Adventuredome (back when it was still Grand Slam Canyon). At the Dome it was replaced by bumper cars, midway games and the Sand Pirate swinging ship. The tubes are two person style with a closed bottom so usually you don't get very wet...probably the reason why they put it in the dry park. Similar rides are the Woody Woodpecker Treehouse slide at USF and what was Yosemite Sam's Sierra Falls at SFMM.

At 19:33 there's actually a coin museum for whatever reason to the right. Most people don't know about it since it's so off to the side and out of place. But it's a nice place to get some AC and get away from people since few people know about it. And it's just a cool little museum.

Wow you picked a really bad day to visit Lagoon. No cannibal, no wicked, no spider, no samurai, no terrorride, no Lagoon-a-Beach, and a long line for Colossus. Ouch. It's usually much less crowded with half the people in queue for these attractions.

Brendan Craven Lagoon was just incredibly busy that day. In the spring, they only open on weekends, so it's usually really crowded on Saturdays. While a few other rides will forever have long lines like Cannibal, Wicked and Airrace, most rides like Jet Star 2 and Space Scrambler usually on normal days either have moderate to non-existent lines or lines that move incredibly fast.
what day did you go? I want to go on a Sunday but not sure if it'll be as busy as Saturday.
TheHauntedGamer this was a Saturday. I have not been to Lagoon on a Sunday before, so I do not know how the crowds are like.

The current most popular rumor is that Hydro Ludge (the out of place water slide) is the location of the next large addition. Hydro has been there since 1994.
PastTime777 from what I know, those slides will not be going anywhere. (But were originally considered for removal)
I have heard both. I used to be an operator and supervisor also over those slides. I wish greatly for them to be removed.

GABRIEL Sarriera we'll see. I'll be there as part of a huge enthusiast event so i'll be with people all day so I doubt i'll have any time to go by myself to do a walkthrough. So I think it won't happen, but it's possible! Who knows!
Coaster Studios can you at least do footage of Hollywood Nights?
Lagoon a beach is ok however 7 peaks waterparks in provo and Salt lake city are better in my opinion as far as waterparks go.

Themeparkcentral 305 yeah. My mom knew the kid who died on it. She stood up on the second hill and got flung off. Pretty brutal.

obviously you've never been. shut up and go yourself. nothing lame about this place at all its very pretty and has amazing rides and in know way small. he didn't even tour pioneer village and you are judging it. you want the smallest park in america? michigan's adventure, valley fair, uncle Larry's fun park, ect. you obviously didn't do your research before commenting s usless comment.
Yes I've been, fool! Also have been to the original Pioneer Village when it had an impressive collection on Conner Street! Now it's lame. I'm an hour away from Jackson, NJ where we have a real amusement park!

My local park Dorney Park is small, but Cedar Fair has added new rides, new coasters, new restaurants since they bought the park in 1992. However, the park no longer has any spook rides like Lagoon has, but Dorney Park has a haunt event with walk through haunted houses in the fall, most Cedar Fair parks do, and so does Lagoon.
I know this comment was three years ago, but this park is anything but small. And comparing this park to six flags is a awful comparison, this park kicks most six flags parks in the butt in most areas.
Lagoon sucks it's a Kiddy Park!
lagoon in no way is a kiddie park. tons of thrill rides and pretty gardens and coasters. and it doesn't suck. you have most likely have never taken your time to visit it.
