I thought Annie and Ruby were friends that Beth didn’t deserve. She didn’t deserve Rio or Ruby or Annie. Beth’s a good character though

I don’t know how old Annie was supposed to be but I assumed she was in her 30s and she wasn’t supposed to be relatable. She was supposed to be a literal hot ahh mess. Like someone that you hope and pray you don’t grow up to be. Someone you see as pathetic.

I liked the show but season 4's ending felt very rushed and set up for season 5. It would have been much better if it was on another network so it wasn't confined to network tv.

No cant blame it all on rio character, stupid story lines and Beth's husband getting more air time . Show should of realized rio was main pull.

Exactly. If Christina was smart n being a producer she should hv pushed for more airtime for Rio instead of Dean. I was only tuning in to see the dynamics bet Beth's n Rio's character. Annie's character lines were getting a bit boring, especially aft getting her Ged there should hv been an improvement with her character.

Calling Ruby black mammy troupe does comes off racist or bias. Maybe her character was just passive. Like black women can only be one way which is aggressive. The was you said that, is like Your disappointed she was not aggressive or took the back seat.

Why was only Annie arrested tho?

Because the gun she was shot with, was the same gun that was used to kill the dollar designer in Season 3. Originally Rio made Beth put her fingerprints on the weapon but Annie called in favor to switch the fingerprints from beth to her to safe beth. So Annie got arrested for the murder of the dollar designer.
