I decided to make a video because I've not released anything recently and I'm not planning to make any changes to this level anymore.
Gem platforms look funny because there is no gem assigned to them as I've not decided which one to use yet.

This looks really nice (ctr fans might need some time to get used to the music used in such way :D) and imo a good thing is how "possible" this is, a challenging level that doesn't have 400 randomly thrown nitro crates and doesn't require you to use some god-tier jumps and slides
Agreed, this level is perfect
This and Snow No feel a lot like Future Tense: Newly created and intensely difficult levels that still feel fair and have the same quality feeling that the original ND levels do.
The music is a mixture of Tomb Time and Mystery Caves. I love it!
You and airumu are the gods of Crash modding. Looking forward to this modpack so much, it's going to be a huge milestone in Crash modding for years to come.

Anyway Im hyped for release
I just hear that the music in the background is a Tomb rendition of Mystery Caves.
Nice placements of additonial objects/enemies and also very nice touch with change of death route colour palette, it looks more than decent.
Also synchronized jumps of mummies in "thorn" coffins sounds so dramatic, I like this atmosphere, music selection, honestly - everything.
Very impressive work. Makes me excited to see what else can be done with modding!
Now this is what I call creative level. Well choice with the music too.

Most of this was done using CrashEdit which is out already and some hex editors.
This Mod is seriously bugging me out... in a good way, obviously.^^

I'm looking forward to this as well. I just can't wait to see how would Neutral Slide-Spin with invincibility look like and more importantly, whether is it superior to the Neutral Slide-Jump.
@@CrashFan95 Oh i kind of forgot c3 nss is a thing. Theres this annoying post-spin period where you cant spin thats longer in C3 so the movement is not quite the same and ive not had time to look at it.

Alright, I'm convinced because getting under 0:30:00 on Toad Village even if there was a chance for NSJ with invincibility would be quite the challenge, which in turn reminds me, your run was pretty good. Now let's see how this precious NSS works to its full extent. :P

It's impressive to see what looks like Crash 3...in Crash 2! (Also, I like seeing a tomb level without the ugly flickering black ground in the distance. Crash 3 introduced LOD models, but why did that have to come with ugly-looking ground in the distance? Well, this mod shows they didn't have to do whatever they did.)
I have never seen so much mummy spike folks at once.. This is beyond insane

So let me get this straight: You two imported the main warproom and an entire level from CB 3 To CB 2, and the traps that weren't part of the second game actually worked... Also the enemies aren't re-skins, not that I can tell. There's functioning gem platforms and a custom color gem from one of the previous videos... In CB 2...

probably because CB3 uses a modified CB2 engine
kinda like GTA Vice City and San Andreas use a modified GTA 3 engine
Everything about this mod is impressive
I love the black Gem and i cant wait for its release and play this modpack
Aside from importing Crash 3 assets into Crash 2, seems like a relatively safe mod compared to your other works...
But eh, I'm not complaining.

Finally a mod that's reasonable and not insanely difficult and nitro infested. I did find though the death route music so weird compared to the CTR track used.
I'm getting hyped for this mod!

seeing these makes me wonder if it's possible to port death animations from Crash 3.
Animations yes, but getting them to properly play accordingly to each death would be trickier. Even trickier would be to get the level to work with such amount of extra animations to load in specific spots.

there is a bug in this level - if you enter the bonus almost at the very end of the level and lose, the game freezes

How come the black gem didn't sparkle at 5:58?
The sparkles color depends on the collectible color and I think the darkness results in it being fully transparent instead of partially.

You can troll by putting the gem in the original path but making it unnacesible from that level but you have to get it from an alternate secret path in other level, just like they originaly did with the red gem in crash 2 and the yellow one in crash 3 😂 please do it

im not sure, idk how ps3 emulates stuff or how to get roms in
@@Aversatrix yeah, because i've tried a couple of different bin and cue files and they all end up freezing my system and i have to unplug it afterwards.

They are custom gems, they aren't in the game normally.

Thats not even remotely beginner friendly. Lots of code editing thru hex editor.
