Tonight was a tough game, but SGA having an MVP level performance saved the day. Once everyone gets a bit more dialed in consistently, we’ll be an even scarier squad
Wiggens, Djeng, and Jones and two first round picks is way to much for Cameron Johnson. Joe and everyone will benefit when Chet comes back. That is why I say just let it roll this year.
What? Come on man Johnson is 100% worth all that. Plus I don’t know why everyone is so fixated on Dieng and these draft picks. He never plays, and we have so many picks that we don’t have roster spaces for them.
@@ThunderDigestYT I don't care about Dieng. But two firsts is a little to much depending on what firsts we give. I am not giving the Sixers, and none of the Nuggets picks. Johnson to me is a good shooter, but hasn't proved anything. The Suns traded him away. If they thought he was so great he would be there with KD, and Booker. Just saying
You realize there is more to building teams than just “yeah I like him he stays”? You have to match contracts while giving those guys super maxes. Cam would cost to much for them that’s why he was traded away. Your logic just doesn’t make sense. And like I said for picks, it doesn’t matter it’s not like we can use them.
The more I watch the more I think we need a decent bench PG. Mitchell is a gun, but could definitely be the bench SG. The issue is we have Topic to come in next year and do that job.
Idk, I think Mitchell has the backup PG spot locked up. Not to mention, IF OKC makes a trade for Cam, this would push Cason Wallace to the bench, and I also trust him as a backup PG.
@@ThunderDigestYTLiterally at this point the only thing I wonder is what will this lineup look like come playoff time if this trade goes through? Picking a starting lineup is a nightmare(in the best way possible). I mean you likely stick with your main 4 as they have consistently started together over a span of multiple seasons now in Shai, Jdub, Dort, and Chet...And then my first instinct is to want both Chet and Ihart out there but if someone argued to start Caruso or Johnson I wouldn't be mad either having a massive bench presence like Ihart...Idk man what do you think? Because as of now Cason Wallace has been a somewhat consistent starter and getting the bulk of minutes so this would go down dramatically as a result which I'm sure will happen. Then you have to play Joe and Kenrich from time to time...not to mention Jay will and now Mitchell has earned some playing rights, outshining Joe and Wiggins lol. So what should be the rotation come playoff time assuming the Johnson trade goes through you proposed?
I think Johnson starts! We can still play a 5 out offense, and it moves Dub down to his natural position of the three and gives Shai a shooter to kick to. This makes it where teams can’t double team shai. He now has a knock down shooter, a cutter in Dub, and pick and roll partner in Chet, and then another reliable shooter in Dort. You stick Johnson and Dort in the corners, draw their defenders to help down low with Chet, shai, and dub drives. If they don’t you have an easy two, and if they do you have a wide open three with some good shooters.
Yeah, but the point I was trying to make is we would only trade one guy that gets time. Dieng and Jones never play. If they do it’s garbage time. Wiggins gets minutes, but I expect him to lose more minutes with J Will now being back, and once Chet is healthy. The fact of the matter is that he has taken a step back in play, and is constantly losing time. Id rather us trade him while he has value for someone that will play, instead of wasting this opportunity and have him ride the bench during the playoffs.
Quit trying to make a case for trading Wiggins and Joe. You keep telegraphing. You're in a hurry to trade 2 or 3 great young talents with draft picks for a 💩pick. That's not a good way to manage your assets on hand. Know what you've got and know when to hold.

We only had 3 TOs. They had 11. Again, we protect the ball.

It's just salary matching. That's the only problem. Unfortunately they will want draft capital.

If we can get Cam Johnson, then why not go for Herb Jones instead, Herb is much more a better fit to the team than Cam Johnson.
Because New Orleans already said they won’t trade him
Subscribe guys you won't regret it also i need a Bryson and cone collab they are easily two of the best thunder fan youtubers

Wishlist #1 Cam Johnson
#2 Bobby Portis #3 DeAndre Hunter
Ooooo haven’t thought about Hunter at all, could be interesting
@ThunderDigestYT Excellent 3 point shooter and he put Wemby on a poster recently
We are playing amazing team defense and dominating the league. And you want to trade our bench away. Smh
Our bench? One player that gets 10 minutes each game these past few outings you mean?
@ I don’t think the salaries match for one player. I wish it was that easy.

I don’t have to there is a legitimate case for it. They both took a step back after those contracts.
