Dr. Rice is an obvious presidential candidate for the Republican party, should she wish. Might be nice to have a president possessing a rational and calm demeanor steeped in polite grace coupled to an incisive, razor-sharp intellect. Just saying.
Rice is an obvious candidate for the previous strong, traditional Republican party that was serious and had more respect for truth and for difference. That party no longer exists, and was killed by thousands of acts of compromise, cowardice , and surrender on the part of people I used to respect. Is there a new wave of Republicans out there somewhere who could reconstitute and develop a party that could nominate someone like Rice?
The Republican Party, as it once was, is dead. It’s been overtaken by the Trump cult, locking the party into a cycle of extremism. Even if Trump loses or goes to prison, figures like Don Jr. will still control the narrative, pushing it further into dysfunction. Gerrymandering and the rise of fringe elements in Congress will keep the party from evolving. Until major reforms-like overturning Citizens United-are made, the GOP will remain a shadow of its former self, trapped in ignorance and extremism. @@andykoehl3776

Rice is an expert on international affairs. She was clear about a couple of things: agreement with the Biden administration’s support of Ukraine; does not agree with Trump’s isolationist perspective, or his plan to pull the US out of NATO. It would not have been appropriate for Margaret Hoover to try to engage in conversation about who Rice is “voting for” in the upcoming election.
Rice was complicit in the Iraq war which paved the way for isolationism. She needs to own her part in it. Because of that idiocy the GOP got taken over by isolationists. It was her failure that put us where we're at now.
People living in a continent-sized, nearly economically self-sufficient country are going to have deep, powerful isolationist tendencies. Like she said, it's not just extremists. I’m a democrat, and I’m a fan of Dr Rice. She speaks so thoughtfully and firmly about her beliefs, values, and conclusions. However, she often comes across as a warmonger who isn’t afraid to insert the US into every Middle Eastern and European conflict. @@jsharp3165 Yet she or Bush do not denounce Trump. Its not rocket science, she was on watch during 9-11 and the Iraq war. She is incompetent as they come, and has no problem with Trump, or she would have said so, like Dick Cheney did.
@@jsharp3165 Also, she is a decent person, and decent people can't (shouldn't) vote for Donald Trump at this point.
It is obvious that she is going to vote for Harris. Her stand on NATO was against Trump's and she almost endorsed Harris here.
Two brilliant women.
what a wasted interview! no questions about the most important topics of the day!! the lady has no balls for sure!!!
What are the most important topics?
What the hell are you talking about?

CONDI! WHERE ARE THE WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION??
Good question. But she's an establishment war criminal, so she can avoid that question while idiots like this interviewer ignore the facts.
She probably is my favorite American super villain
I wish this woman becomes president by anymean . This country needs people like her at this vary moment 🙏🏿🙌🏿
Dr Rice is an intellectual definitely good to have on your side for advice
Is all-lies just allies with a strange accent?
Or an affectation? She's brilliant. That's why it's so surprising n stands out.
The never ending question
War cruminal
Knock it off. That's not true. Also, you can't spell.
@@UA-camr-r5c8x You are right. I meant to write, war crumbinal!
I am beginning to think she might make a good presidential candidate next round
Congratulations doctor
What a lady!!
Lying!
Bush sat at his daddy's chair
and hired this like a house servant
An extraordinary Secretary of State. Henry Kissinger would be proud of her. Trump win 2024 then all bets are off.
We need her in Trump’s administration
I’m a democrat, and I’m a fan of Dr Rice. She speaks so thoughtfully and firmly about her beliefs, values, and conclusions. However, she often comes across as a warmonger who isn’t afraid to insert the US into every Middle Eastern and European conflict. Her reasons, when she explains, are always based on salient cognition of foreign policy. But surely there are also diplomatic options, ways, and means that can achieve similar outcomes. Perhaps a combination of military and diplomatic options could be better than straight shows of our might.
To be honest, diplomatic things don't work. I am democrat too.
@@hdsfjkjgdf maybe they don’t work by themselves, but it should be part of our options for everything.
@@neilifill4819 As Gandhi said, non-violence only works with those who are humane and empathetic to begin with. These people we are talking about are animals. Who would chop babies? How do one make them understand?
@@neilifill4819Amen.
Trump was asked those questions and his response was: “jigijaja bagajaja dodoja yea Fiji has beautiful beaches. We will train our military there” 🤣🤣🤣
But he also said:'bing bing bong bong...'😂😂😂
Yes, she wanted us in NATO! Many thanks Mrs. Rice!
Has she disavowed Trump or supported Harris?
Dr. Rice is brilliant. VP Harris, watch and learn!
