Awesome journey! You are the lone voyager trekking the inside passage when everyone else is Bahama bound. But the beauty and the solitude are glorious! I loved the shot of the seagulls lined up making sure you knew there was a log there! Be careful out there as you log all those miles!

Randy Gardner Thanks! It certainly is beautiful in the PNW, though I wish the temperature was closer to the Bahamas. I'll admit, I literally got so sick of logs, i just started filming each one, I could do a 2 hour documentary called 'Logs'.

Ive seen enough of the Bahama type videos for awhile. You can only watch so many vids of the same cay over and over from every YouTubber that sails down that way. I much prefer seeing the ones that cover the PNW and SE passage.
One of my favorite was wwwYahtTeleport-Com channel. Shows the journey of a couple that buy an old boat, fix her up, and sail her up and over from the Canadian east coast to Alaska. Some of the best videography. Really cool couple too. Just wish they hadn't finished the journey. If you haven't watched their work, I recommend having a look.

Scott Maschino I'll definitely have to take a look. Always interested in other channels, especially those in my neck of the woods... I'll admit though, I hope to be one of those 'another Bahamas videos', but just think of the journey to get there!

Exactly-- just luck. Playing that popular game- DODGE THE LOGS.

It certainly makes me leary about when I attempt to sail the world. Hopefully there will be less logs off shore so I can get a nap here and there lol.

Beautiful area. Too bad you didn't get to enjoy it as much as you could have. Ive Heard that the ones you see are safe. You can avoid them. It is the ones that have taken on enough water to float just below the surface that you really have to worry about. Hope you dont find any of those ones.

Scott Maschino The ones you can't see are certainly more dangerous, they're the ones that destroy props and rudders... On a good note, despite some days I couldn't totally enjoy, there were plenty of days that were completely enjoyable.
