Hey Aaron is that a new Spike Spiegel Tat?
Just how josh smashed his sister?
“My god I can’t believe that she doesn’t notice that he is gay” the title of the movie is literally Clueless
Exactly lmao she doesn’t know about all kinds of things throughout the movie
I had a crush on a guy in college but picked up on the fact that he was gay only when the class was ending.😭😭😭😭
Can you guys do Disney’s tangled please 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Pls
The “you’re a virgin who can’t drive” hit a little too close to home😪
I feel personally attacked
No collision or penetration lolz

@@pixiestxNyomouf When you said no collision or penetration, at first I thought you were talking about insurance🤣
@@pixiestxNyomouf same I hope I stay out of collisions
Love how you guys aren’t paying attention at all but picked up in like two seconds that the new guy is into men!
That’s one of the gifts men have
@@BecoPlays bro what 😭 not rlly
they created him as a stereotype, it's not that weird they noticed it right away.
3-6 seconds of movie and then 10-20 seconds of them going on a tangent
Pfft
I find this entirely appropriate since Paul Rudd was deemed sexiest man alive this year
@@harumahisesi261 what were they smoking to come to that conclusion???
Not made at it, but damn if I didn't want Chris 😍
@@Alecexo um are you fr?💀 he is so fine.
@@imogenmoonlight I’m not denying his looks he definitely is fine but there are definitely a few in line before him for sexiest man alive
I Know he will never Age. I love him in that one Michael Myers/Halloween Series movie and Knocked Up an the sequel to Knocked Up, This is 40. An 40 Year Old Virgin (damn you spell check an typing too fast)
It's because "Clueless" is a modern adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma in which Emma marries her brother in law (kind of? They're siblings were married to each other). So they wanted to remain somewhat accurate in the movie
Wasn’t he just her sisters brother-in-law?
Oh and the age difference of high school and college is because Emma was 21 and Knightley was 37
Mr. knightly's not her cousin but yeah they did do that then
OHHH I NEVER MADE THAT CONNECTION BUT IT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE!!!
@@kiwitealc5353 you're right. I double checked, and their siblings are married to each other. So they're related in a convoluted way
They were only step siblings for a year so it isn’t that weird but the part that is really weird is that she’s 16 and he’s in college..
Ig it depends on what year of college he’s in though too like I was 17 as a freshman in college

This is supposed to be a movie about cliches, Cher seems like an empty character, like the typical white rich girl but she actually has an amazing personality and she cares about people, she is not mean or dumb, she is just naive
Modern Gurlz goes into her character and her arc in the movie and how it is reflected in her wardrobe.
Yea Cher has so much to her. One of my fav comfort characters
These guys wouldn’t shut up long enough to see that honestly

Okay so you guys completely missed this part but Cher and Josh are not blood related/Josh’s mom is on her husband no.5. Josh is Cher’s EX-step brother, Josh’s mom and Cher’s dad were together for about a year when they were both kids and Cher’s dad kind of just took him under his wing after that which is why he goes an visits and still has a bedroom there.

Ok HOLD UP. Cher is the narrator of this world. We see mostly see the world of Clueless through her eyes, it is meant to be stylistic and mostly open for interpretation. She is interesting because she follows the rich popular high school IT girl archetype while being a multidimensional female character who is still likeable. She is kind and she wants to help the people around her. She is reflective, she experiences feelings that push her to improve on herself. She takes care of the people around her like her father. She makes sure he eats well to take care of his hear. She takes care of Ty albeit a bit misguidedly because helping her become popular and having a boyfriend for Cher is the greatest gift she could give to any American Highschool teenager.
No one will ever touch that "virgin who can't drive" line. RIP Brittany ❤️
Always love seeing her work 🌻

Lmaooooo I remember watching this film when I was like 12 and I was so mind blown that he was gay…watching it back, the signs were all there 🤦🏽♀️
6:41 she said "I could really use some sort of herbal refreshment" and that whole exchange is funny bc she's talking about drugs and the girls don't get it. She also says something about coke. It went over my head when I was a kid
" It went over my head when I was a kid." Same here-- I always wondered why Tai was bugging out that their school had Coca Cola 😂
This whole film went over their head 🤦🏻♀️❤️
arron calling cher dumb really suprised me because she’s clearly super smart and also finds interest in materialistic things so maybe that’s what he was focusing on how her mindset was but thought the whole movie she talks about a lot of smart topics and facts.
yeah if anything she's just naïve, which is the whole point of her character arch
same ngl that kinda upset me when they just called her dumb, literally missing the whole movie showing she isnt
you guys are taking this movie too seriously

also this is based on the novel 'emma' which is apparently really good, haven't gotten round to reading it but i actually love the movie 😭 it's a classicccc

Wasn’t Paul Rudd her “ex step brother” ? Like her dad was so insufferable that he couldn’t stay married, so Paul’s character was her step brother for a short period of time
Yup
yes. he was her step brother when they were kids.
Her Dad said you divorce wives not kids so he still kept Paul Rudd's character as a son after divorcing his mom.

@@Lynn-mm5fd i mean they can just say "our parents were married for a couple years" but yeah kinda weird LOL big time, he still not her step brother tho
The weird thing is that this is based on Emma by Jane Austen, and the love interest in that book is definitely NOT her step-brother. So.. they added it in for the movie 😆
He's her sister's brother in law. And they have a closer relationship in the book than they do in the movie. In the book, he says he held her when she was a babyy, and is 16 years older than her.
My brain hurt when Aaron was talking about math
The amount of movies/tv shows that have “ what are you doing step bro?!” Energy is wild to me. I don’t care if your parents divorce how can you see someone who was a sibling as a romantic option?
Right? I find it so weird, honestly. It makes me uncomfortable that it's so normalised too.

My Mom showed me this movie when I was a teenager. We arrived at the scene where the girl went like- oh the person I want has been here the whole time- cut to her stepbrother and I was like - Him?! But that's disgusting!?
Even now it still hasn't quite settled XD
But he is not her step brother cause the parents are divorce lol
@@tanita6234 So what if they divorced? Why would you even consider someone who USED to be your step brother as a romantic option? That's weird, OBJECTIVELY.

Clueless is more famous for the impeccable timeless fashion and aesthetic than the actual storyline lol.
When Beavis and Butthead came on the tv and Jo said, "And there's us" I died
This movie is based on Emma the Jane Austen novel where she gets with her sisters brother in law who is besties with her dad. But it’s also inspired but the directors grandparents who where step siblings, so she took inspiration off of that. Still is weird
The sister's brother-in-law isnt super weird cause in my family there are 2 sorta similar relationships. My aunts (sisters unrelated to my family) married a brother of my dad's and a brother of my mom's. Its mostly the second fact in this post that bothers me. Also why cant some people just be fine with others being uncomfortable with the dynamic.

Everyone is complaining about the ex step brother thing but I never minded it. Yeah I can ignore it bc the rest of the movie is perfection.
Omg aaron in math is exactly me
No clueless is not 'good' but it is highly enjoyable. A lot of that probably comes from nostalgia, but idc. I think they just should have made paul rudd cher's brother in law (give her a sister who's married to his brother) and it would get rid of the step brother thing that apparently people think is gross? They're not related, yall.
Make the beginning of the movie the sister's engagement, and then the end of the movie the sister's wedding, and have the romance plot happen in that time frame. Or something like that.
