I've just spoken with my local gun store about this weapon in a 243 caliber. I'm really looking forward to getting another Tikka Rifle. The first one I purchased was the tikka t1x 22lr. It's exactly what I was looking for in a hunting rifle for small game
Bought my first rifle a month ago it was the tikka t3x in 270 cal I'm shooting 1/4moa with mine best rifle I ever used. I have always borrowed rifles in the past years
We reviewed the T3x Tac A1 (which you guys added to your playlist), and we’d love to get our hands on a T3x Lite! I’m actually looking to get a new rifle for out west in 300 Win Mag and this rifle is at the top of my list!
Great action, great barrels, great trigger! The stock is well made for the cost. But WHY is the comb on the stock so low for a gun that is meant to be scoped?! Even with low rings these stocks benefit from a cheek riser. Tikka needs to redesign their stock with modern dimensions. Higher comb, and a negative drop at heal.
My daughter in law traded me a T3x left handed action in .270 Winchester for my 1955 Model 88 Winchester in .308 plus an undisclosed amount of cash. I had never heard of this company before due to my lack of involvement in shooting for the past several decades so I’ve been pleasantly surprised by all the accolades that this rifle is receiving. Especially since I did the trade without ever firing the weapon. My one concern is recoil as I had a pacemaker implanted nearly 7 years ago and despite my telling the surgeon that I shoot left handed he placed in on my left side. It would be very ironic if when I were to shoot a deer it, and I were to drop at the same time. Well that’s a chance that I’m going to take, I gave up my Remington 700 BDL in 7mm Remington mag for that very reason, but I don’t expect this .270 to be that much of a problem. The only thing disparaging that I’ve heard about the T3x is that with repeated shots the accuracy wanes. They said that it was due to the lightweight barrel and another commenter said it had to do with the synthetic stock’s reaction to the barrel warming. Can you say anything about this or will I have to find out on my own whether there’s any truth to this?
@@whiteyfisk9769, you try acting like a man when your pacemaker takes a hit Beavis. My light gun before having the pacemaker put in was a 7mm Mag. followed by a .300 Win Mag. But if comments like that one make you feel like more of a man carry on, you can use all the help you can get.
I've been trying to find out what kind of steel is used on the "Black steel" barrels. Those are not high carbon blued barrels, correct? If not, what kind of steel is it?
Comparing the tikka to the Bergara wilderness hunter. The Bergara is better in every way but weight and maybe drop mag instead of box magazine Both have sub moa guarantee Bergara now has a fluted bolts and is smoother than tikka Better stock Extra round in the box magazine Metal trigger guard. All tikkas are long action for some reason Wilderness is cerakoted and tikka is stainless. I prefer cerakote.
Yea but recently Bergara has cheaped out on their parts again, and all the shooters ive talked to are having TONS of problems with extractors failing, chincy spot welds holding the handle to the bolt failing. Its a shame cause Bergaras used to be very very nice rifles, but just like the Remington 700 they tried to replace, they are following lock step with their decline
Are the new rifle tikkas meant to be dirty on the inside walls near the bolt action? Either side of inside walls where white part is. Mines smudged a bit and I’m not sure if this is normal for a new rifle?

What brand bullet do you shoot to get 1/4 moa
Cool.
Unfortunate about the foam filled stock though. My favorite feature of comp stocks is they're hollow. I always put a survival kit in there.

Jst baught one.
Seams very nice.
Will find out if it's as good as you say when I can find ammo to shoot it.
I feel ya man, .270 is impossible to find these days
Please do the lite in 300 PRC, 30 Nosler or 28 Nosler. Tikka seems to do everything right, but I need a 21st century elk gun
I’m seriously thinking about purchasing this rifle in 22-250 rem. Does this rifle have pillar bedding and is the bolt push feed? Thanks

Yea take some Tryactin pills if the recoil is a concern.
Try-actin like a man

Any barrel break-in procedure recommended? Thanks.
I know Im quite off topic but does anybody know of a good place to stream new series online ?
@Dennis Connor Flixportal :)
@Shawn Koda Thank you, signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :D I really appreciate it!!
@Dennis Connor happy to help :D
NO UST SHOOT IT
What is the advantage of Stanley steel barrel? More accurate? Durable?
It doesn’t rust. Great in any weather.
It does corrode, just not as easy as blued barrels. Still have to maintain the rifle, for sure.

Se serait sympa de mettre des videos en francais
Bonjour, Merci pour votre commentaire. Nous allons ajouter des sous-titres en français prochainement.
