    Great episode! I like how you assign personality to every person and animal you meet. As someone who doesn't play the game but enjoys watching , I feel like i am reading an adventure book with moving pictures. Keep up the good work!

    I've placed groupings of picnic tables with clay jugs, clay bowls, baskets, and extra fruit around them. It's kinda neat to see them sit at all the different picnic areas. It feels "lived in" Thank you for the episode, Ohno! 😀

    • @OhnoCoho
      @OhnoCoho  3 роки тому

      Yep, that is the downside of making all those houses... my tax bill grew a bit ;)
      I might have been aiming a bit too high but that's because there is arrow drop and I was trying for head shots. I suspect I did misjudge some of the drop though ;)

  • @RenySI5

    Do you plan to make any changes to the blueprint of the houses( change windows, doors etc.)? I think it makes the village more beautiful, alive, some houses made with logs and daub, some with stone and limestone, or the mix of both. Oh, another thing - when making those torches, don't put them too close to the house doors. I did that and in the morning when the villagers came out, the door got stuck behind the torch, and now they have an open house ...🤪🤭🤨 Love your gameplay, I don't mind when you cook or make firewood, it's part of the game. 👍 55:20 LOL!!!!

    • @OhnoCoho
      @OhnoCoho  3 роки тому

      Hmm... I keep forgetting that the game supports changing the location of doors and such, I will have to try that out :)
      I do like the idea of logs with daub but the level of the house impacts the happiness of the villagers. They are happiest with rock walls plus limestone so that is generally what I aim for. That said, many of the farm and production buildings keep the log build style so you do get a bit of variety that way :)
      LOL! I will have to remember that regarding the torch! Thank you!
      Thank you Renata!

    By the way, after hunter sense and anti-sway. I also hit the next two levels of traps. They let you stay at home and still build hunting skill/tech. you can from 4 traps get 3 points for each rabbit, bird, and rat. So 36 a day when not hunting. Plus fishing traps do add a bit when you can sell the fish at the market stall. Hunting is the slowest skill for build-up when you want the herbalist shack to get to level 2 for the reset skills potion. And none of the town herbalists sell the potion.
    Yes they can get annoying but they feed the village a bit and build skill.

    • @OhnoCoho
      @OhnoCoho  3 роки тому

      Yep, I remember having four traps, two each for rabbit and birds. Any more than four and I start to avoid doing them. Good point about it being an effective way to boost hunting experience though.... Hmm...
      Thanks for the tip on the Herbalist Hut too!

    Masterful video Ohno, enjoyed it immensely. Great bears take down, I've been playing the game over 1000 hrs in 3 seasons and I would NOT want to be tackling those brutes with a longbow and stone arrows! Huge respect for that. One thing- only if the condition of food is red do you need to avoid it, several items in your food storage were at 37.5% and still black- so still usable! I know you want rot- but use all the food you can; there'll be more than enough to make a fabulous reeking heap of oozy rot! ;-))

    In third person you can get a much better view of the placement of buildings and visually see your surroundings while you're hunting.
    Yes, I had a bear go in the cave and he died in there. I had to kill the other bear before I could go in to the cave. Your copper arrows would have been good for the bear hunt, they do more damage. You can use them for the Wisent hunt. The Moose are highlighted in green (like the Deer) and will run, haven't had them chase me. I found a lot of iron arrows from crashed carts and from doing some of the quests; as the game progressed (I'm on a 30 day) I started buying them as they kill most of the animals with one shot.
    Good "show" today Ohno.

    Yes, there are moose where you said you remembered seeing them. Theres a lot of them actually.
    And may I ask, Mr Coho, why you didn't dump all the food on the ground on season change? Hmm? 😜
    Oh and another thing (just an oh-thats-cool moment, nothing gamechanging) but watch your villagers in the morning when they are sitting in the gathering area. They don't just sit there like lifeless dummies anymore. They will strike different poses, and sometimes, they will eat or drink something. I've seen apples and pears and cups of water, so far.

    If you go to the first place you found a bandit camp across the river. Or northwest of your village. Then go NNW of that first camp there is a few moose in that area. But make sure you are clean and creeping. They will see you from a bit off and smell you from farther if dirty.
    Not the one that was just across the river but the one you almost ran into like I did do. :D basically between the T town name and The Bri is a road. They will be on one side of the road middle-top to the middle. Most of the time on the right on the map. Since the map is for some reason south on top. They are best to hunt during winter when you can see the blood on the ground. Until you have hunter sense and can see it with the "sight beyond sight" :D
    OH NO, Ohno you went to bed with 30 Kg of cabbages at 100% and woke up with them being worth 50%. They were worth .8 coins each instead of 1.1 to 2.2. I don't know if you get 25 of her price or 50% but she sells 100% at 4.5 coins each. Yours she put to 2.3 as soon as you sold them to her. :D :P
