I have a terrifying story about this movie scene. This used to be and still is one of my favorite movies of all time when I was a young kid that I would watch all the time! However one night when my parents allowed me to sleep in there bedroom so they can go out on the town I woke up and encountered a huge tall slender owl creature leaning over the bed looking deep into my eyes. I was terrified but worse of all I couldnt move! Its like this thing had me frozen or hyponotized or something and the creepiest thing about it it spoke to me without moving its mouth and said this will hurt but you wont remember it. Next thing I knew it was morning and I slept for 8 hourse however it felt like I didnt sleep at all. I wanted to prove to my mom that there was a gian t owl in there so I looked through her room to find feathers and couldnt. After that incidnet I was excited to see this move on TV with my family however this part when the owl flys into the bedroom I started to scream very loud were it freaked out my mom. I now describe the experience as like having PTSD. Many years later in adult hood my grandma and my mom admitted to me that "beings" came to there bedroom in the middle of the night to take them to do bad stuff.
