    Thank you for this! Are you doing all of this every night?? My only worry is that the leave in spray will cause my natural hair to get frizzy and peak out the twists.

    • @NaturallyEngineered
      @NaturallyEngineered  5 років тому +4

      I only moisturize about twice a week. The added moisture from the spray actually prevents my hair from frizzing. When I use cremes, I don't feel like it does a good job of penetrating my hair.

    • @NaturallyEngineered
      @NaturallyEngineered  4 роки тому +1

      I kept mine in for about 2 months. I have a very unorthodox way of washing my hair when I have braids. I use apple cider vinegar and water to lift buildup and dirt from my scalp. Here’s the link

    What is the oil you made in the dropper bottle? Do you use castor on your scalp with twists? It’s so unpleasantly sticky to me :/

    • @NaturallyEngineered
      @NaturallyEngineered  4 роки тому

      Hi. Honestly, I don’t remember but I typically use grapeseed oil, a few drops of essential oil and black castor. It is very thick and sticky so I always dilute it well with another carrier oil.

    So the Murrays Bee’s Wax...do you think that thinned edges? I started using that mixed with Hicks. I have 4c hair and NOTHING lays my edges but I wanna keep them lol.

    • @NaturallyEngineered
      @NaturallyEngineered  5 років тому +1

      HealthyGemini I don’t think the wax thinned my edges but it doesn’t aid in growth, so I switched to an edge control that has ingredients that promote growth. Still my fav edge control.

    • @HealthyGemini
      @HealthyGemini 5 років тому

      NaturallyEngineered awwww ok that makes sense. My edges thinned about a year ago when I first went natural and I was wearing a wig all year with no breaks 😐I am trying to do better with my life this time around and been rubbing castor oil with rosemary and lavender on there in hopes I can keep them but I know that wig on my hairline isn’t good regardless. I have a low hairline so my edges show which is why I been using edge control. I’m going to throw some kinky twist in this weekend and walk away 😂I’m over it for a few weeks at least.
