I am thinking of getting the ALU-CABIN for my Tundra. I want the plain version like you have, with perhaps the Dickerson heater. I am hoping to avoid using up all of the inside space with all of the goose gear stuff. I am considering adding a couple of storage boxes for camping equipment such as a cooler and stove, and dry food goods, and water jugs. Without buying expensive goose gear options, is there an easy way to tie down some stratagem boxes just along the drivers side front to back? I want to leave the passenger side clear.
The cap has a nice channel around both sides and front. You can easily put a washer into the channel and tie things in. My whole kitchen counter is fixed to the cap this way. And in my tacoma there are some tie downs on the bed floor that you can fix things to that might work for your purpose if the tundra has something similar.
Not sure. I have a car port with atypical height. My truck is 7' 7" from ground to the top of the solar panel and 7' 3" to the top without roof rack/solar panel on.
Hi Andrew. Did you install this yourself? If so was the setup pretty straight forward to adjusting the length to match your bed? You're in CO so did you order from local dealer or OK4WD? I have a Gladiator and plan on doing the same so I will be watching your progress. Thanks for the vid.
Does the tent come with insulation? If you zip it all up, can it handle winter temperatures, or will you need a heater? Also, does come with pre-wiring for an eventual electric power system?…battery box…solar power…truck alternator power…inverter? If it doesn’t come with…can you order the shell pre-wired? Thanks.
@@conanfa18 The tent is two walls in some places and single wall in others. I've camped comfortably down to 30F with no issue. I have a video about electric. It comes prewired for solar and has several prewired lights.
Looks awesome! Can't wait to see more :)
how long is the longer sleeping platform?(minus the shorter platform)
Nice vid. Have the same truck. Wondering how tall it is from the ground to the top of the shell?

@@AndrewReineberg thanks for the feedback. I'm planning on getting a canopy camper in the next few weeks. I have a stock tacoma access cab

Juniper Overland in Denver did the installation. I ordered through them too. Good luck with your build!
@@AndrewReineberg thank you Andrew. Really looks outstanding & so functional. Enjoy.
What does this cost, just with the basic as you have shown here? Thank you.
