@@creolerican- NFL teams leave healthy players on the inactive list every week. In other words, it is a healthy scratch. For example, the Bears had D'Onta Foreman consistently on their inactive list for games and he was completely healthy and wanting to start.
The Niners can do the same thing with Brandon Aiyuk to make sure he doesn't get injured.
If he doesn't want to play for $26 million per season after having one very good season in the NFL, then it may be wise for the Niners to get as much as they can for him.
