Fun fact: because the budget was bigger and technology had improved, they wanted to spend more time in the future in the sequel, since they weren't really able to in the 1st movie. As we saw in Terminator 4: Christian Bale Yells At People, Skynet had been harvesting rebels to study. In order to more visually separate the 2 time periods, the future was given a darker hue to reflect the pollution in the sky, the moonlight being bluer in color. Hence the original title: Rebel Moon, which everyone hated because it's stupid.
@@solvseus I could not make it through the PG-13 versions, however the complete version was watchable, I found. Wouldn't call it a "good" movie, necessarily. Just made more sense than the cut down version.
Another piece of trivia: during the liquid nitorgen scene, the prosthetic T-1000 needed to be cleaned up by the crew after being blown into small shards. Due to the icy hue of the prosthetic T-1000, the pieces were blue, and they nicknamed this clean up the Blue Harvest, which was, of course, the working title for the original Star Wars 1977
Other fun bits of trivia about T2: Robert Patrick trained to shoot guns without blinking which he does throughout the film. The SWAT guy who sees Miles Dyson with the detonator & says “Fall Back!” is Dean Norris, best known as Hank Schrader in Breaking Bad. Edward Furlong aged too quickly during filming so they had to make multiple adjustments to accommodate that. Arnold practiced the one handed reload with the Winchester 1887 every day on set until it became muscle memory. Co-writer William Wisher cameos as the photographer during the mall fight when the Terminator is thrown through the galleria window, people like to headcanon that it’s the same character he played in Terminator 1. The Helicopter chase at the end, they actually flew a real Helicopter underneath an overpass, many of the film crew refused to do it due to the danger of the stunt, so James Cameron filmed it himself.
Surely... Send John Connor back in time to save himself, in the process eliminating himself from the future anyway. The moral of the story being the resistance is bigger than any one man, and the one thing our robot oppressors will never understand is the triumph of the human spirit or whatever. And also John Connor is Forrest Gump
Watching this on the computer hooked up to my tv and my room is glowing like a UFO landed in here. Why do you guys have a white background? No one else does out of the hundreds of channels my family watch. Everyone else seems to get that straining your eyes is a bad thing. I've even seen other comments asking about it
Love this movie and love the channel. Btw, what about when you can obviously see Arnold’s arm in a black sleeve in his jacket when his robot arm is getting mangled off… Or maybe you mention it and I need to finish watching the rest of this video. Lol

That "canal" is the LA River - it's the most LA thing imaginable.
This is a weird way to spell Snake Eyes but I’m here for it

AFAIK Cameron confirmed that William Wisher plays the same character.

How is this extended?
The canal is actually the LA river... during summer its very dry
So the boy says he doesn’t know John but the girls rat him out right?
The canal = the LA river
Snake eyes? Is that you?
Ginger mullet kid is now a grandfather.
He's come a long way from Salute Your Shorts.
The redhead kid is a legend. He even gets to use the whole series catch phrase. He says "I'm going to get some quarters, I'LL BE BACK"
Yessss!

Big fan guys thanks for all the awesome content. Would you change the background from bright white though so people can actually look at the screen?
Wassup

Also this was my first rated R movie in the theatre. I was 10 years old and my dad took me. Such a great memory.
