Congratulations guys. What it looked like a hell of a job with your video I was able to complete the job in two hours. I literally set my laptop right by my side while doing this latch replacement. Thanks a lot.
Many thanks for the video. Thanks to your video I was able to change the door lock without bigger problems. I only struggled once because my fiesta has another type of windows glass which has an additional (yellow plastic) bolt in the lower section which has to be removed partially to be able to take out the window glass.
HELP. After I finished the installation I forgot to test the remote locking/unlocking. After testing I noticed the door I replaced the latch locks when I open the car and unlocks when I close the car. Completely the opposite of what it is supposed to be doing. Help please, what could I have done wrong????? Hopefully I don't have to disassemble everything again. Could I possibly installed the wiring connector for the latch backwards???

Ford fiestas are a real pain in the ass eh. I’ve had to do this 3 times on my car
How ridiculous! To have to remove this many parts to change a door lock!
