Thanks Both💛 Running in nature is probably the most beneficial practice when you are in fight or flight... Much better than being put in a hold & restrained. Which is like the worst approach... My limited understanding is that some first Nations' approach was these break out/throughs are a normal natural part of life. Not a bad thing & extraordinary thing! The person is watched over & kept safe, fed warm ect & the process is aloud to progress naturally. @ the end, when the person comes back renewed. There will be much wisdom, new information/stories & blessing for the entire community🕊

For many it's safer to be in a dysfunctional group, than out there on ya own. Basic mammal behaviour, safety protocols. That where the mental break comes in. Some part of you rejects the propergander & Bs so deeply...You have no chose but to run...& that's when they restrain you body & mind with the hard stuff... Shut it Down!
