Just made them, they are perfect 👍
I’ve been looking for that quick and easy no mess recipe for some time because there’s nothing like a freshly baked 🍪
I weighed the ingredients to the dot (including the egg) and it was exactly the *perfect* amount for 4 scoops of 5 cm ice cream scooper!
It was so satisfying 🥳 no more no less 🤎
And they were delicious 😋
THANK YOU🙏
Glad you like them!
@@HanbitCho oh I really like your channel. I’ve tried the ganache, NY cheese cake,crème brûlée, medallions and couple of other recipes and they all turned out great.
Really appreciate your precise measurements and little tips.
(First time came across a simple recipe asking for 18g of egg instead of “one small egg” lol, but it worked)
Thanks and keep up the good work!!
Just wanted to ask U, as U've recently made these cookies. Did U use a whole egg or just the yolk? N what wud b the number of whole eggs to b used in this recipe wud U suggest if not measuring the egg?
@@lbpham67 YES, that would do. An average egg weighs 50 to 60 grams.
@@Kammali100 can i please ask u about the method of how you did the egg?
I do most of my baking in my toaster oven so I am always grateful for smaller recipes. Thanks chef.
thanks!
I've recently discovered you and this channel, hoping to do some of your online classes in the future! Thank you for all the info and your teachings Chef Cho!
Awesome, thank you!
Can’t wait to try your recipe. I really love your levain cookie recipe. So great👍🏻

Made them today just to try a new version of this cookies. SO GOOD. When they are still kinda hot, they have this soft texture that makes them perfect for this season. Next time I will double the amount

Glad you like them!
I love how how you included what room temperature should be. A newbie mistake I made years ago was to assume that it should be warmer than 20-22C cos it’s the tropics where I live lol. Looking forward to trying this out, Hanbit!
okie!
Looks delicious. Definitely, will try this one. Thanks Chef!
thanks!
LOVE!! never used chopped hazelnuts in choc chip cookies. i'm using them from now on! thank you for teaching, Chef!

Yummy cooking good!

Hi Hanbit,
I've noticed you are using some magnets that are probably there to keep the parchment paper from flapping around inside the windy oven. Is there a specific brand you recommend for those magnets (i.e., so that they are oven safe and will not melt?)
Many thanks for another great recipe! :)
just use any magnets i can get hold of!
Amazing like always. Could you make some oats cookies as well someday
Great idea!
I love how you explain the why’s and wherefores of what you do. Is your book available in English?
not yet!
Hi Hanbit, thanks for the amazing recipe. However if you can help with an eggless chocolate cookie version that would be great. Thankyou in advance ❤️🙏❤️
Sounds great!

Love n nice cookies, chef.you explain it very clear👍.can we keep the dough at freeze? And if we need we bake.how about the result? Thank you Chef
Yes you can
Hi chef, thank you for uploading new video.
I’ve a question how different if we use brown butter
yeah that's be a different recipe.
I really appreciate your videos and how well explained the techniques are.
Is it possible to not use hazelnuts or any kind of nuts and just remove it or do I have to replace it by something else?
yeah it's totally up to you.
All your recipes are top notch Chef thank you ! Can I use sugar in the raw if I don't have light brown sugar?
yeah
Hi, this cookies are amazing. I gave it a tried and i loved it

Hello Chef,
Would you be able to give a substitute of egg ? Thank you so much ...you are simply awesome 😊
oh not sure about the substitutes.
Hi Hanbit, can I use all brown sugar and reduce the sugar content? Do you use raw hazelnut? Thank you for your reply. 😊
i guess u can use brown sugar.
I've seen your video making a perfect melted butter. Please make video of cookies using it😊
yeah
Looks so delicious
Thank you 😋
Hi Hanbit, I just baked the cookies may I know are the cookies supposed to be soft inside and crispy at the edges. Thank you for your reply. 😊
yeah thats right.
Hi chef Hanbit,
Not sure if someone asked already. Can I not use the hazelnut just incase if other kids have peanuts allergy?
If not using hazelnut will the other quantity of the ingredients need to change? Thank you🙏🏼
yeah u can leave it out.
Close to how I make mine, but I brown the butter, let it cool down to be put back into the frigg to firm back up, & I cream the butter & dark brown & white sugar together, adds a lot of caramel flavor. btw, I've NEVER seen anyone do it my way before.
I also make about 10x the amount, bake what I need, & freeze what is unused (after forming them into cookie shape) & when more is needed, leave them frozen, & bake. I could make one if that is all that is needed.
Leaving the dough age a few days in the frigg will add more flavor to your cookies, cooking shows can only tell you let the dough age for 3 or 4 days in the frigg, 5 to 7 tastes better.
right.
Thanks for the tip regarding mixing the browned butter, brown sugar and reg sugar! Tried this and hands down the best improvement for my cookies.
Hello! Thanks for all your recipes! I do have some questions, though, cause my cookies are very tasty, but they spread a little too much and the edge is not round, as yours, but kind of flat.
Besides moving fast, so that the butter doesn't melt, what do you think caused this overspread and not so perfect shape?
Overmixing the butter + sugar mixture can be a reason?
The second time I also tried not to keep them in the fridge at all, as I read cooling them favours the spread, but it didn't help much.
I like my cookies to be near perfect, just as yours are, so please send me some hints where to improve.
Thanks a lot!
hello!
Very nice cookie recipie Hanbit! They looks amazing! Can you tell me in grams the size for these cookies? I didn't have the size of scoup! Have a nice day and good week! 👍👏🍫🍪🍫🍪🍫
hmm not sure.
@@HanbitCho Thanks! 🙂🙂🙂
Hi hanbit! Thanks for posting these. Question, are these chewy and soft? Crispy on the edges? Ty!!!
both chewy and crisp.
@@HanbitCho woohoo thanks!!
Super
Super
Beautiful cookies...... Thanks for sharing..... Any update for the English version of your book...... Hehehehehe
Yes, soon
He always gives strangely sized batches, like this one calling for ⅓ egg. I’ve translated to US measures and a more standard batch of 2 dozen.
For 4 Cookies
40g (2 ¾ Tbsp) Unsalted Butter
22g (1/9 cup or 1 ¾ Tbsp) White granulated sugar
22g (1/9 cup or 1 ¾ Tbsp) Light brown sugar
18g (⅓ of a) Whole Eggs
50g (6 Tbsp + 2 tsp) All purpose flour
0.8g (⅛ tsp) Baking soda
0.8g (⅛ tsp) Salt
15g (1 ½ Tbsp) Couverture chocolate
20g (2 ¼ Tbsp) Crushed hazelnuts/almonds
Chocolate chunks (similar to chocolate chips)
For 2 dozen cookies
240 g (2 sticks + 1 Tbsp) unsalted butter
132 g (⅔ cup) white granulated sugar
132 g (scant ⅔ cup, packed) light brown sugar
108 g (2 US large) whole eggs
300 g (2 ½ cups) all purpose flour
4.8 g (¾ tsp) baking soda
4.8 g (¾ tsp) salt
90 g (rounded ½ cup) coverture chocolate
120 g (1 cup) crushed nuts
XX g chocolate chunks or chips
measurements in grams is standard. not strange at all.
I love this! Is there a way that we can store it longer?
freezing may be an option.
@@HanbitCho Thank you so much. I was thinking to sell them in batches, should I include instructions like eat within 7 days or freeze for storage to last up to how many days?
I recently found your channel! Love your videos! Question... do you not add vanilla?
Yes I do!
@@HanbitCho great, thanks! ☺️
Hey Hanbit, I gotta ask: no kind of vanilla at all? I do like the mix of the choco chunkz and the choco chips, that creates a nice flavour profile.
oh you can add that in! will taste even better.
Chef, u play the tongue twister soooo goooodd😂😂😂..chunky chocolate chipx5
😋
More cookie recipes, please
okie
Hi Chef Hanbit. Can you teach how to make Leche Flan Cake in next episode? Thanks
right.
Hi! if I want to make more of it, I'll just double the ingredients? Thanks Chef!
that's right!
Thanks again Chef❣
hi Chef >> whats brand of chocolate chunks ? because i cant find like it with valhrona >> or they have just not available on my country .... best Thanks
yeah i actually use a local one in Korea. you can just use the regular round shaped chocolate chips. it works perfectly well.
Would loved to have seen an up close pic of the inside or break cookie open close to camera (before taking a bite) so we could view texture. 😊
yep
