I really enjoy cab tour videos and this is one of the best I've ever seen. Although this isn't the biggest cab, yet it's still pretty spacious with lots of storage room. The seats looks awesome, especially that you can heat or cool them. I'm sure those functions are very useful in the cold and warm months. I find the dashboard beautiful and ergonomic, everything is near to the driver. Your bed looks comfortable, which is very important in this profession. It's obvious you look after your truck, because everything is clean and tidy inside. I'll be honest I'm glad you forgot your regular equipment, because this is and entertaining and informative video. I'm looking forward to the local truck show, I'm certain your Scania will be immaculate. Have a great weekend Jemma and best wishes to your new king. 😊😋

I sleep with my head at the driver's side, Right hand side, Australia, Due to the camber of the road, Road slopes left for run off. If i pull up on the side of the road for a Kip, and i sleep with my head on the passenger side my head is lower than my feet. Thats my reason to sleep with my head up the driver's side. You have a lovely smile. Thank you for the tour. As a very small boy I went with my dad. His vehicle was a 1948 atkinson 8x4 mainly made of a wooden cab. Not a bit of plastic in it at all. How things have changed.
Great videos Jemma... Trucking a bit different from the Fodens or Atkinson’s, even the old Scanias. Great Cab Tour, with all the facilities, (need a college course to learn all the controls), home from home. Only thing missing is a toilet ..🙁, which can be a problem, when parked in this country with lack of them. One advantage of Tour Coach, built in WC. You are very well organised, and put most of us male drivers to shame. Really enjoying your travels, and how nothing phases you, and you get things patiently sorted. Your grain a lot better behaved than some of my passengers, although I am virtually retired now, Keep up the great work. x The Bigfella x

.... always interesting the different views on what is done. I am talking about the use of diff-lock .... I know some that say that they have it in all the time. Me personally, hit the gravel road and I lock it in. Just thinking about it, have never driven a single drive axel so don't know how that works. With tandem drives it makes the wheel on axel 1 turn the same as the wheel on the opposite side of axel 2 and then with tri-drive the wheel opposite to the one driving on axel 2 would also be turning in unison .... If you can make sense of what I'm trying to say there, well done ... you sure have one heck of a lot more storage than my truck has, just a day cab, so definitely no fridge .... also like the latch thingy for extra security on the door .... now thinking again about the diff-lock, what you have may be what I know as lockers, but they will not work if what I described earlier as diff-lock is not locked in. Our lockers synchronize the wheels on either end of the axel and the more axels that you have the locker in, the less steerage you have when there is slippiness going on. Imagine having 3 axels with lockers in, you got great traction, steerage not so great. You could say it makes it interesting ... The head end in a sleeper would imagine the thought is with team drivers the head wants to be on the high side which the camber in the road dictates. ... thx for sharing .. as always .. never stop dreaming, ust dream bigger .. have fun be safe, save our oceans ....
Ah man I miss my Scania really badly! That cab cool feature is a absolute godsend in the summer month's ☀️, I'm like a baked bean now between June and September😅 I used to sleep with my head next to controls and now i sleep the same way as you never had a problem switching sides. I have a big Merc Actros gigaspace now and although I do appreciate the amount of room, space, comfort and height it has in the cab it still can't pull the skin off a rice pudding lol 😂 I watched your meal prep vid too great ideas, hope u remember your cameras next week look forward to the next 1 🫶

I bet you dread the day you have to empty your Truck in to a brand new 770 the amount of kit you carry is a colossal amount , I have one storage box with kettle , serial bowl, coffee and couple of mugs in under the bunk & a fridge on the passenger seat , clothes in a bag on top bunk and wesh kit for showers in a wesh bag . For me it depends on where is the highest side when I want to sleep in my truck. So the place for the remote lights switch doesn’t bother me. Sometimes I’m lucky and they are right in reach distance. Sometimes they are not 😂. That passenger seat turning is awesome , also when there is a television installed to the side. And as I’m 1.94 mtr I can stretch my legs! Sadly my R410 doesn’t have that option. But I do love the SCANIA above all trucks.
Yes sometimes I have swapped it if it is bad or sometime I prop up with extra pillows. It’s nice to sleep that end with the chair turned as if feels less claustrophobic. Unfortunately I don’t have a tv but I don’t think I would ever have time to watch it

Awesome video Jemma. Scania just thinks of everything I have always loved Scania and Ovlov's (Volvos) i.e. All the Swedish manufactured trucks, because they think of everything and look and sound amazing!
Fascinating thankyou. Is driving one truck make the same as another or are they like different marques of cars? My father was a scania master technician and taught hgv mechanics. He was an amazing man there was nothing mechanical he could not repair. No manuals just skill and army engineer. Funny his own cars he rarely serviced saying if it isn’t broke leave it alone, something he used to scold me about for not servicing my bikes and cars. He regularly went to London, Sweden and Africa learning or teaching. Left school at 14 no qualifications died last year at 94. When he retired he serviced lorries and plant on an ad hoc basis and earnt himself a tidy sum

Nice cab never driven one of those had a V8 for a couple of jobs but never really explored the cab. Also one I drove for tankers (not milk) had a microphone on a boom attached to the drivers seat which was useful.
Hi Jemma having seen some more of your videos and especially this one around the cab I suppose you don't have a camera on the trailer to assist you whenyou are reversoing as with the types of things you are hauling it would get very dirty and dusty which would render it almost impossible to see where you are going when you have to reserse. I rreally admire your skill as a driver when having to reverse into some of the tight spaces you have shown in your youtube videos.

I'm 50, a self employed bookkeeper/accountant and looking into changing my career. I applied to Driver Academy but not heard anything since 30/5/23 and have no way of contacting them.
If you're out all week the company shouldn't be skimping and buying the low cabs! I know the truck is a good spec but that extra cab height brings a different world. Trucks have changed a lot, used to have content with an engine hump moving around the cab!

Awesome video Jemma. Scania just thinks of everything I have always loved Scania and Ovlov's (Volvos) i.e. All the Swedish manufactured trucks, because they think of everything and look and sound amazing!

Fascinating thankyou. Is driving one truck make the same as another or are they like different marques of cars? My father was a scania master technician and taught hgv mechanics. He was an amazing man there was nothing mechanical he could not repair. No manuals just skill and army engineer. Funny his own cars he rarely serviced saying if it isn’t broke leave it alone, something he used to scold me about for not servicing my bikes and cars. He regularly went to London, Sweden and Africa learning or teaching. Left school at 14 no qualifications died last year at 94. When he retired he serviced lorries and plant on an ad hoc basis and earnt himself a tidy sum

It is incredibly car like. Auto gearbox must make it so much more relaxing and reduce driver fatigue.
Not sure if it reduces fatigue but it is nice to drive
Nice cab never driven one of those had a V8 for a couple of jobs but never really explored the cab. Also one I drove for tankers (not milk) had a microphone on a boom attached to the drivers seat which was useful.
I’ve only ever seen those mics in V8s not sure if that is coincidence or whether it’s only an option in a V8. I’m sure someone will know
I don't think the V8 I drove had one will have to look at my pics of what model it was.

Hi Jemma having seen some more of your videos and especially this one around the cab I suppose you don't have a camera on the trailer to assist you whenyou are reversoing as with the types of things you are hauling it would get very dirty and dusty which would render it almost impossible to see where you are going when you have to reserse. I rreally admire your skill as a driver when having to reverse into some of the tight spaces you have shown in your youtube videos.

I really enjoy cab tour videos and this is one of the best I've ever seen. Although this isn't the biggest cab, yet it's still pretty spacious with lots of storage room. The seats looks awesome, especially that you can heat or cool

I'm 50, a self employed bookkeeper/accountant and looking into changing my career.
I applied to Driver Academy but not heard anything since 30/5/23 and have no way of contacting them.
If you're out all week the company shouldn't be skimping and buying the low cabs! I know the truck is a good spec but that extra cab height brings a different world. Trucks have changed a lot, used to have content with an engine hump moving around the cab!
