    Outputpipe only needs to be lower than level in intake basin, not loooooong. Then it works, until water lowers in high basin. Thank you for showing siphon.

      bottle is not necessary, just make source output must on the same lvl or lower from the source and they create syphon system

    O nível da água dos dois aquários está desigual, sim desnível um está mais alto que o outro, aí bastava um caninho que a gravidade faria o resto, corta o canudo para cair no mesmo aquário e a mágica termina😊

    This is siphon principle because the output straw is below the input straw level. You may try raising the output straw a little above the level of the input straw then the water stops flowing

    Konten yg menarik,
    Sedikit catatan namun dengan cara seperti itu tidak ada bedanya dengan mengalirkan air dari tempat tinggi ke tempat rendah karna terdapat perbedaan ketinggian permukaan air pada kedua wadah dan sedotan.
    Konsepnya sama seperti mengalirkan air dengan menggunakan selang atau sedotan tanpa menggunakan botol.
    Seperti menguras air di dalam Drum ke sebuah ember menggunakan selang.
    Apapun itu, konten ini sangat menarik 👍🏻

    Due to friction and head loss, an eternal pump cannot be achieved. This diagram shows Vaccum and suction, the water level have a difference so higher level goes to lower level automatically. It will find equilibrium and will cease to move.

    I use two output and one input, my output is ok, but input it cannot suck the water up to the small bottle to refill, why is it?

    easy easy , conclusion is the output volume MUST be bigger than the input .
    2 solution for the output :
    -make it longer
    -make it bigger

      volume isn't the variable at play, it's all about the height of the water coloumn(s) and relative height of the straw(s), this determines the amount of atmospheric pressure present (every 33ft deep in water is 1 atmosphere of pressure (1 atm), irregarless of the volume i.e. if its a swimming pool or the ocean), at long as the output straw is lower then the input it will drain/ pull water up the straw.
      P_h= P_0 e^{\frac {-mgh}{kT}}
      P_h = pressure at height h
      P_0 = sea level pressure
      g = acceleration due to gravity
      k = Boltzmann's constant (ideal gas constant divided by Avogadro's number)
      T = absolute temperature
      m = mass of one air molecule

    That is a bell siphon my friend and you don't need the barrels your just making more work for your self all you need is to valves some pvc and a priming point and you can achieve the same outcome with a u-siphon

      No, this is not a bell siphon, but it is a siphon. In a larger system with a barrel, you may drop the foot valve at the input and if there are some air leakage in the tubing the barrel will take up som air before the siphon stops. The same if there are gas that dissolves from the water.

    You continue fooling people just for views. Viewers, it is a siphon system . Take note of the elevation of the water in the aquarium and the tip of the outet straw. It is very clear that the elevation of the water in the aquarium is higher than the outlet tip of the straw. Even without the bottle, anyone can let the water flow from the aquarium to another container of lower elevation.
    All his drum pump videos does not really works. . All of them works under a siphon system. They only make it appear that drum pump works and edited those videos to suit their purpose.

      This instructive video is fully ok. It shows a mini version of a drum pump. He also demonstrate that the output must be lower than the source. Excellent video!

      In Your methods no need of water bottles you connect direct pipes then also flow the water. Because input put water level high output water low

      @@satyanarayana79 That is correct, but he also show the prinsip of a ‚barrel pump‘. A barrel can be practical fore some reasons. Here yoy see that no foot valve at the input is needed due to the bottle.
