@@Adam-g01 I’m in the UK next week and already saw that I can buy open return train tickets. You basically buy the to and return ticket for a set price, but the return ticket is basically open in time. So you don’t have to already say at the time of purchase that you drive back at let’s say 19.00h. You can return later if you like.
That system is very nice but does not exist in Germany. So if they would have ask me what an open ticket is, I wouldn’t have known neither.

England is not kicking them out either. The handouts in the UK are much greater and easier to get. Social payments, health care, legal services, housing, etc etc. are there for the taking and they are supplied lawyers who ensure the freebees keep coming. Then they can call for the other 200 people in their family to join them. UK citizens dont care who comes into their country, whereas the French citizens do care.

I have been a student here on a visa for 5 years, followed by 8 years with a working visa, and I still get a million questions every time I enter the country, fingerprints, letter of employment check, and so on. The one year I was on Optional Practical Training (OPT), on every reentry I was made to sit in a room while they checked with my employers. Missed so many connections / bus rides out of this that I lost count. But sure, believe what the orange man says. CBP does a very thorough job with all non-US citizens.

you're ignorant about what happens in the Calais harbour. It has little to do with drivers or trucking companies who want to smuggle people. These people, mobs of them, are attacking trucks and/or have heaps of tricke\s to get in the loads without the driver having a clue about it. I know it first hand.

There's a difference between uninvited stowaways, and stowaways who were knowingly accommodated by the driver and/or shipping company. People lying down on the top of a neat stack of tires is plausibly deniable. People hiding in a void at the front of the trailer, on the other hand, didn't climb into the truck and throw out enough tires to make room for themselves without being observed, and without disturbing the rest of the contents of the trailer; they were obviously accommodated.

I watch this show and also the Border Security Australia. Both prove that the border CAN be controlled and only people who genuinely want to tour or to be legitimate and abide by the nation's laws will be given admittance. Why does the USA not practice this????? We just prop the door open and let people in, a huge number of which have nefarious intent, and then pay them while they are here via welfare, etc. It is wrong! I love my country and don't blame people for wanting to come to the USA but they should have to go through the same process I would if I wanted to gain entry to any other nation in the world, i.e. Greece, Russia, South Africa, etc. AND I would be expected to know the language and provide for my needs, not depend on their government to put everything in my language and pay my way!
