With Apollo Creed alive in this version, how will he react to the revelation that he fathered an illegitimate son named Adonis? Adonis can be challenged by the Dragos, and Apollo, out of fear that the same thing or worse could happen to Adonis, steps out on supporting him in his fight against Viktor Drago. The same stuff can happen as in CREED II, only this time Apollo can step in and train Adonis.
I think it is not too possible Apollo was killed in 1985, if Adonis would be in Rocky IV he would be too old now to be able to even fight in Rocky 3 in 2023
Ironically Rocky V has one of my favourite scenes in the whole franchise. When Rocky goes back to Mick's Gym and has a sad flashback 😭

This redo of Rocky 5 is one of the greatest what if stories/fanfic of all time. Not only do you make the story absolutely grandiose and epic but you kept Apollo alive and you took away the pointlessly tragic elements. Flawless

I loved Rocky 5 as a kid and as an adult to me it had a message that went over people's head. The father and son theme went deep with me. To me it's my 2nd favorite Rocky movie.
I grew up with rocky V it was released the year I was born... it was the first rocky film I remember seeing... I did find it off putting when TNT used to air them all back to back they skipped this one... mind you this was before rocky balboa came out... anyone actually know why TNT didn't air V ??
Rocky V was so under-rated when it first came out. At first I didn't like it much, but I didn't dislike it (I watched it a few times) but it didn't have the same impact. In later years, it actually grew on me, especially with Rocky Balboa (Rocky 6?). I have yet to watch the Creed series though.
My favorite Rockys are the first one and the third.

Would be great if Stallone would grant permission to make Animated films based off of these fanscriptions, he would probably be all in for a better version of Rocky V
Personally I think it would be cool if we got an animated movie about what Drago was doing back in the 90s. I’d like to imagine he’d be in a similar place to where Rocky was in the first movie. Fighting for chump change, braking legs for the mob, and raising his son.

Sage Stallone really delivered in Rocky V. He had to feel tremendous pressure on some level as Stallone's son playing that role in his first ever appearance in a film. Even though that film is not loved by a lot of people, he was great in it. RIP.

Rocky V was my favorite Rocky Movie anyway along with Creed 1 and 2 but that ending with Apollo and his 4 year old son being approached by Rocky and his teenage son is a beautiful ending tho.

I was very sceptical because you had put the bar so high with your version of Rocky4 - who could imagine you'd come with something even better? Now this has to be put into a film, either animated or something else. Stallone should grant permission - seriously.

Dude, this is another knockout. No pun intended. Lol Apollo living to Rocky 5 would have definitely changed everything. Although you took some elements from it, I do love Rocky Balboa/6. It was such a nice return to the humble vibes from the first movie. But still, this was awesome.

Like Harry INSTEAD became the Hobgoblin rather than being called the New Goblin. Like how he become the Hobgoblin in the Ultimate Spider-Man comics.
Also, Alternately Titled: What If Rocky V Was Better?
If Apollo was still alive, chances are Adonis’ mother would have sued him for child support. His wife Maryann may have left him then. Also, with money from Apollo Adonis’ mother might not have died. Adonis likely would have grown up with both his biological parents, albeit living separately. He probably doesn’t get into legal trouble and doesn’t meet Damian. He may not even become a boxer, just like Rocky’s son did not.
The one addition i would make is hints of rocky opening a restersaunt after, maybe something apollo suggests, as 'somewhere old fossils like us can hang out.'
And the last shot in the montage of what was? A newspaper article photo of Apollo cutting the ribbon in front of Adrian's

I think Robert would make a great Big Brother figure for Adonis.
Rocky 5 had issues but I liked it. Mickey motivating Rocky to get up and kick Tommy's ass is one of my all time favorite moments of the series.

This would have not only made Rocky V better...it would have made it on par with 2 or 3 as far as quality. I think if Stallone would have heard this concept back before he made V he would have loved it and made it just like this.
The hell with Sylvester Stallone thoughts about Rocky V!! I actually enjoyed it cause it could happen to anyone who have a high point in their life of accomplishments and then lose it all cause of a mistake and then go thru struggle after fame!! It shows people that could make desperate changes that could be bad and shows hows to get thru it! It's like real life!! The only problem with Rocky V was only when Rocky got off the plane from Russia and his son grew up like 7 years after Rocky IV when the time line was like a few months!! Lol.😅

The “sue me for what?” Line doesn’t really work in this version because he now is probably quite rich again after winning. Other than that, I really liked it!

@@WalterCulture Not the point. The inference is that he's broke, which he isn't. There's no emphasis on the word "me", so it isn't being suggested he isn't to blame. Also not in the least bit believable that a twelve year old could double over a six foot two, grown-ass man with one shot. American Ninja 5 couldn't make that believable and Rocky sure couldn't.
Jamie, I was using the clip from the movie. And he could still say it like that with the same infernence. It’s absolutely believable that a 14 year old could double over a non athlete who wasn’t expecting it. Plus we saw Robert knock the hell out of the bully at school and bloody him. He could at the very least knock the wind out of Duke. We’re not talking about breaking his ribs here.

This was actually pretty cool. I'm sure if Sylvester Stallone her seen this video so probably done it the same or agree with everything you just said. This version of the movie would be awesome. In my opinion of course.

I think, the way you dialogued this video, it would be brilliant to see it in storyboard format looped in with the real life action. It's a great video but I have to admit, Rocky V is a brilliant movie because it goes back to the vulnerability and naivety of Rocks character.
If the rocky 5 fight was in a ring and nothing else was changed it would have been another great rocky movie.

I liked Rocky V a lot! Someone posted the full director’s cut on UA-cam years ago before it was removed. It was fantastic and that version should’ve been the theatrical release!

Much better version! Dukes son should have been included watching on in the gym during the blunt force trauma scene and at the end with Apollo and and Adonis, also would like to see Apollo’s other kids in the story line, at least mentioned, not just completely cut off. Great version though.
I like this story line, very good! Here is my concept for Creed 3 - Creed 3
The concept
- It’s been 3 years since Adonis has fought Victor Drago
- Rocky has passed away from cancer
- Adonis has lost his passion for boxing and is struggling with depression over the lost of Rocky
- A New Heavy Weight Champion has been chosen by the US boxing committee due to Adonis failure to defend his title
- Young brash Ublado “Speed” Sanchez, an American Hispanic gold medalist wants to cement his legacy as the best pound for pound fighter but needs to beat Adonis to officially be recognized as the greatest in his era
- Ublado is undefeated, younger and more skilled
- Adonis’s wife, Bianca, has lost her hearing completely and their challenge is how to not only communicate with each other but how to raise their 3 yr old daughter who is also deaf
- Bianca lost her music deal and is struggling to find peace with her hearing lost and becoming a mother.
- Adonis is stressed and struggling to understand how to be a father to a deaf child
- Adonis’ mother comes to stay with the family and helps out wile giving advice and teaching moments to her son about rising a family.
- Adonis trainer, Tony “Little Duke” Burton tries to rekindle Adonis’s love for fighting by taking him to one of Ublado’s title defense matches.
- Ublado notices that Adonis is in the crowd and confronts him after his victory fight
- Adonis ignores Ublado’s requests to fight him
- Bianca noticing that Adonis’s depression has taken a toll she starts to urge him to get back in the ring
- Adonis excepts Ublado’s challenge
- Press conference is very much a spectacle event for Ublao
- Adonis goes back to Philly (where it all started: Go back to the basics) to train
- Adonis is struggling to train and temporally gives up
- Rocky’s son Robert hears that Adonis is struggling and shows up in Philly to help motivate Adonis to fight. Robert gives Adonis the gold boxing glove neckless that Rocky gave him; the same neckless Micky gave to Rocky. A scene of loss and love or passing on the torch
- Adonis beats Ublado in the 12 rounds by knockout
Adonis: Training Scene
- Back in Philly and in the old gym where he trained in Creed 1; Same training staff except Tony is now part of Adonis’s team like he was in Creed 2.
- Adonis’s needs to become not only faster but quicker
- Trains old school; blood sweat and tears
- Final scene in the training montage; Adonis running up the rocky steps with power and honor for Rocky (highly emotional music and gritty expressions on Adonis face)
Ublado: Training Scene
- Upper class Olympic boxing facility
- Multiple super talented sparing partners, state of the art training; Ublado is aggressive and arrogant
Fight scene
- Fight is in LA
- Bianca and their daughter do not attend the fight until the final round
- Adonis is getting plumaged by the speed and quickness of Ublado
- Ublado starts to fatigue in the final round
- Adonis starts to get a 2nd breath and starts winning the 12th round
- The final knockout scene is similar to Rocky 2 as both Ublado and Adonis fall down
- The referee starts counting
- The feeling is a high pressure, heart pounding as both boxers fall to the ground
- Adonis is bloody and his vision is blurred the room is spinning he’s exhausted he can’t hear the crowd chanting his name but catches a glimpse of his daughter in the crowd holding up her hands in sign language “I love you Daddy”
- Adonis with all his might pulls himself up off the rope and wins!
- Adonis is crying and holding his daughter along with his wife

- Irony in the characters; Adonis becomes more Rocky and Ublado is more Creed
- Ubalod is a cocky, condescending, pampered athletic and much more talented boxer than Adonis
- Adonis is broken emotionally and struggling to find relevance as a boxer now that Rocky is gone
- The Creed family’s new dynamic is how to communicate now that wife and child are deaf

Creed 3 will be released on may 3rd this year, but I will rate your prediction.
Keep in mind the main storyline for creed 3 is someone from adonis's prison comes back to rise to the top and fight him, it takes place 7 years after creed 2, so that would be...... 2025?!?!
Also I think rocky goes to see roberts family, which works aswell. It is confirmed sly will NOT be in creed 3, neither will he even watch it.

I would have kept the part of Rocky checking on Paulie after Tommy punched Paulie, but with Paulie saying "Sorry Rock but I just couldn't stay silent and let you get humiliated on live television, again! and especially from a disgrace of a champion like him."

This is actually pretty good writing and I liked Malcolm as George Washington Duke. I don't know if you know this, but there's a directors' cut, or a work print if you will of Rocky 5 on the internet which has some more scenes that were cut out of the movie and a different street fight scene all together, and that training/fighting montage with the music from the first Rocky 4 training montage is just awesome and you can see Tommy Gunn being drawn to the dark side. It's actually 10x better that the original if you can get through the really bad video quality and the time stamp on the top of the movie. You should definitely see it. Best of luck, guys and I do hope you keep this segment going.
I’ve seen most of the altered or added scenes from the work print, but never watched the full thing all together. I definitely liked most of what I saw. One of these days, I’ll have to sit through all of it. Thanks for watching!

Such a great video. Even though I loved Rocky V as it is, I like this much better. Honestly, I would love for Stallone to allow for an animated movie based on this completely. I especially got chills with the ending where Rocky and Robert have their moment and are joined by Apollo and Adonis. Great job.
Could you imagine how fitting and epic it would have been if this all lead to Robert Balboa vs Adonis Creed. now that would be a good movie/story
If they fix the age gaps of both characters, it will be a-ok, but they have to make reasons for that said fight.

Also, I’ve always wondered if Rocky is rich again in the Creed movies after the fight with Mason Dixon, but he just chooses to live in the house he had with Adrian?
He would've made a few million clear from it. Plus factor in the media money, which would've been considerable in this modern world, not to mention earning money from managing Adonnis. It's just at this stage, Rocky doesn't have anything he wants to spend his money on. He has no family to shield or provide for, he just needs his own necessaries, which to be honest, aren't much.

I wish I could see this film ! This is AWESOME ! Granted, it is quite a bit easier to redirect the story around elements that have already been created from scratch (hindsight is 20/20) but this is simply perfect. Even the ending fight plays out beautifully. In a world with sequels and prequels, why not have alternate story arcs? This needs to be made on film in Hollywood/Philly !

If you take into account that Rocky 4 took place right after Rocky 3, and Rocky 5 took place right after Rocky 4, Adonis Creed should be about 37 years old by now, the same age as his dad in Rocky 4. It makes ALL the sense that Rocky 5 would include the five year time jump in-between Rocky 4 and 5. It would explain soooo much. Still wondering where Apollo's other kids are. He mentions having kids in a speech to Rocky in Rocky 3. But yeah in Rocky 5 people act like Rocky is washed up and has been out of the limelight for years. So, so stupid as he just beat Drago like a few months ago!
Rocky IV takes place at least 2 years after Rocky III, because it was said in III that Apollo hadn't fought in 3 years, then in IV, it was 5 years. And in IV, Apollo is 43.
@@thelevisullivan Gotta hit you on at least one point. Remember at the beginning of Rocky 4, Rocky is directly returning from his private third fight with Apollo seen at the very end of Rocky 3. You can't really rely on numbers, because the scripts are so inconsistent with them. Like Rocky and Adrian being married nine years in Rocky 4, but that's real time, not Rocky time, which would be nowhere near nine years. Rocky 2 comes out three years after Rocky, but I'd say the rematch is a year at most from their title fight in Rocky. I think Rocky 2 to Rocky 3 is the only accurate measure to go on, as if I remember right Rocky says he s been defending the belt for three years. The timeline is quite a mess really. Love the movies, but it's a mess. Still baffled why they would set Rocky 5 right after Rocky 4, when it's been five years inbetween films and Rocky is portrayed as a washed up has been. Oh God I think I've gone cross eyed. :)

I like how you changed the scene on the corner with Robert. One of my biggest issues with Rocky V is the order of events in this part. It always seemed very convenient that Rocky put Robert back in the #1 spot right after Tommy turned on him. It feels forced and it takes away the chance for Rocky to CHOOSE his son over Tommy

I would love to see a creed fanscription of creed but I would love to see Apollo and Adonis interact together in it

If Apollo Creeed didn’t die in his fight by Ivan Drago, I think he would be present or watching Adonis’ fights with Ricky Conan, Victor Drago, and Damian Anderson
One thing that I would change is to have a 10-round exhibition match titled Balboa Vs. Gunn: Clash Of Champions and give Rocky Balboa the exact attire from Rocky Balboa Vs. Mason Dixon. I would also make Adonis Creed two years older and have it flow straight into Creed. Creed II will be a little different. Adonis Creed still wants revenge for Ivan Drago paralyzing his father and ending his boxing career. He beats Viktor Drago in the second encounter just like the real Creed II to avenge his father.

Creed 2, for me, was just a weak re-hash of Rocky II-IV....almost like they knew they really couldn't get much more out of the franchise, so they just rushed it in the second movie, which I thought was a massive shame, seeing as what they *could* have done with the angle of Drago having offed his father.
@@KingRandor82 I personally disagree.I think it handled the drago storyline well and I think it has the best antagonist since apollo. They actually managed to give ivan personality and victor is a sympathetic character. They werent just characatures like clubber lang and Ivan as he was in 4. The drama is also on point and the fights weren't as predictable as previous films. Just my opinion.

Omg this version is so much better! I really wish they went with this plot for Rocky V! Also, Rocky clearly would’ve been a three time heavy weight champion in this version and if they really did go with this version for Rocky V, I think the movie would’ve been around 60 or 70% on rotten tomatoes in my opinion.

This would definitely be a much better version, except make Adonis closer in age to Bobby and have the relationship between rocky and his son much more distant. Then have it strained in Rocky taking Adonis under his wing in the same way he did Tommy, minus the push towards him fighting. Then let the emotional edge between Adonis and Apollo and reconciliation be the crux of Creed.

Holy crap! What an awesome rewrite! This movie would have been amazing easily the 3rd maybe 2nd best Rocky Movie and that’s saying a lot since the first won best picture.
