I'm excited for it.
Agreed!
Same!!
as a huge fan of the original, im really excited for this and I agree with you on the different takes. being more open minded to this because he's a great actor and this crow is not meant to replace the original. it looks really good to me.
100% and I love your name by the way.
@@myimyisweetiepie thank you💘
If I may say so I love your reaction it's refreshing to see someone give a positive review of a movie and I thank you
I appreciate your comment and I thank you for saying that.
It's good to see a nice reaction for a change 😂 I swear most reactions hate it. I'm a massive fan of the original and was initially a bit ehhhh after the trailer but I swear I keep watching it and I'm liking it more and more 😮😂
Yes!! Give it a chance people 😅 that's the thing. The more I watch it the more I appreciate it and get excited for it.
I’m the exact opposite. I was willing to give it a shot, but the trailer is so bad, and gets worse every time I see it. I’ll watch the movie when it hits streaming. I’m wondering if it has any good dialogue at all.
@@6li8storm40 I'm willing to bet the original has the better dialogue. And atmosphere. And soundtrack. And setting. This version will possibly have the bigger and better action scenes 🤷😂
I remember seeing the first one multiple times when It first came out. I love that movie so much but I'm definitely seeing this one. I feel like if Brandon Lee was still alive he would be rooting Bill Skarsgard on
Straight up! Well said 👏
Thank you so much for delving into the many interactions of this character. ❤️ i am going to go see this movie
Anytime! It was fun 🤩
I'm actually really excited for it I know that it's drastically different from the original film but isn't that a good thing? I mean do we really wanna see someone try and repeat what Brandon Lee did which was perfect or do we wanna see something new and unique something that's completely its own and I'm happy that it's taking this approach.
Totally! I didn't imagine this would be such a topic, especially when people complain that there's nothing to watch. It's something to watch.
i will never forget the night of February 29th when i watched the 1994 Crow film.
i heard a remake was happening, saw the photos of Bill Skarsgard (really don't get the hate, and still don't) and checked out the 1994 version for myself. it was a GREAT film, very great, loved it with ALL of my heart. godspeed to brandon lee, man.
then not long after, i checked out Salvation, the third film. i thought it was an interestingly decent film, actually. but it definitely didn't capture the sheer raw experience i had whilst watching the '94 film. i looked into City of Angels, and found out about the very unfair and unjust studio interference via the Weinsteins... and then i checked it out with that in mind. City of Angels was kinda mid, but oh lord, Wicked Prayer... i absolutely hated Wicked Prayer before i watched it, and i still do after having seen it to the point where i'm like, "yeah, i can totally understand why they wanted to reboot the franchise now"
Thanks for sharing. The Crow has definitely been on a ride and I'm happy to see it get a reboot.
I love your channel
Thank you 🙏 😀
It curious, how the villain plays in it. He seems to be fully aware of what's happening
agreed! He's totally acting like the smartest guy in the room. I hope that means he gets it worst. 😉
@@myimyisweetiepie I'm guessing and a total theory, but nobody is mentioning the TV series. The villain of the TV series started to actually mess with the flow of souls. So they maybe shooting for a larger scope than any of the previous movies
Well, a recurring plot convenience throughout the movies is that the villain somehow has insight into the supernatural Crow's powers and weaknesses to cripple the resurrected avatar. So we might see that as well.
@@jacobhale4537 see that's one element I'm torn on. Do I watch this in June and go back or watch all the previous and go to the theaters in June this year and be like "What up got?"
@@Heraldo_Del_Mar I think it's that aspect of being on an even level with your worst enemy. They don't do that anymore. Is it a plus or minus with storytelling?
Looks 🔥
Haha I was so mad when the trailer didn't have that guy in the car say "there ain't no coming back" but it looks like they're gonna get deeper on the Shelly situation which is cool, but where's fucking Eric's god damn guitar!???
Hahaha, I thought about that too! “It can’t rain all the time”
It’s more so John wick to me
I m make a 4 part mini series of the crow 89 comic film
The Hate is not deserved. Brandon Lee's Legacy will ALWAYS be just that, HIS legacy. Go watch his interview video's he did to promote the movie. The tragedy of death was not lost on Brandon. No version moving forward will have the nostalgia (for obvious reasons) that his movie version of the Crow has. I think it is more disrespectful to say " Oh, Let the story die with him." wtf? Surely, someone remembers, The #?@!! B**s**t attempts at a sequel or retelling that came later? But you want to COMPLAIN about a version that appears to stay closer to the actual source material, paying respect to both the original actor, and the story. It might end up being all trailer, who knows right now. As an avid comic collector since 1975, I was excited to watch something I loved as a kid cross over to film. To me, this movie has potential.
Thank you for sharing that insight and agreed it'd be terrible for the character to die with Branon Lee. His role in the movie is one of the reasons this character is a legacy. Well said.
The sequels were weak, but they weren’t a retelling. They were different characters.
About the CROW, that didn't change, right?
@@rebelx2695 No. But, the character itself did. This is a retelling of Eric Draven’s story, for whatever reason.
This film looks like it deviates so much from the comic. I doubt it will be a good iteration.
Fr a Ghost the CROW bleed too much..😂😂😂😂😂
Zombie!!!
i get where your coming from but a staple of the original and the comic it was based on was how gothic it was not having that is like making batman a wise cracking jokester and the death of eric and Shelley is supposed to be brutal and graphic that's why his soul couldn't rest it was even worse in the comic eric gets shot in the head and is paralyzed while Shelley is raped and brutalized it and eric just lays there helpless watching it all before finally dying its toned down a little in the 94 film this death just doesn't feel horrible yes they are killed but killed with trash bags and he comes back right away biggest red flag though is just the fact he doesn't look like the crow he just looks like jeered lotto joker
Did you know that late Brandon Lee is the son of the legendary martial arts master the late Bruce Lee?
But of course!!! Enter the dragon is a personal fav.
@myimyisweetiepie Also the Way of the Dragon staring alongside Chuck Norris.
@@kiranpunnoose2441 I don't know why I always saw that fight as so awkward. Probably because I liked chuck Norris as well.
This body bags all those shitty sequels in just a tiny 3 minute trailer with a sole nod to city of angels. I think this fit todays younger audience in the same way oddly enough that the original did in the 90s for that generation. I think this has a good vibe and yeah it departs from the original in some ways but not enough for me not to want to go see it. If you went to see that shit that Salvation and Wicked Prayer was then you at least owe this the same. Because production wise its on par with the first and second. The rest cant touch that. I hope this does well and takes the franchise out of the slow death Wicked Prayer put it on a path to.
Fair and I hope this does well too.
Cash grab this was shit!!!!!
Another remake that will no way be as good as the og. It looks like this movie went woke, which will make it suck more.
Too colorful, not goth like the original. And it looks like John Wick turned into the Crow knock off. The villains look like Russian mobsters, and they replaced the rape scene with a kill gore action, It'll fail like the Edward Furlame sequel.
No ! , it’s more like. more a vigilante not the dark gothic theme , the paint hair worst of all the tattoos suck
this looks good
so good
