My lgs doesn't even have an edh day. They have a cedh day but if you want to play edh you need to go during "free play" day but that's for everyone like Warhammer and everything.
Social anxiety and not wanting to get my ass kicked all the time by people who take the game way too seriously. Also tired of all the petty arguments that break out during a game because WOTC doesn’t know how to write rules without being vague as fuck about the meaning of the wording or how the rules are meant to be played. Pretty hard to check and make sure the guy who wins all the time isn’t cheating without basically stopping the game every time. But…I just bought an Urza’s Iron Alliance commander precon deck, and I’ve built two more commander decks…so I’m trying to get back into it for the sake of my social life
I also recommend building a stax deck for when you do run into the annoying people because they tend to be very clear and limit the amount of cheating that can occur. I personally recommend Tergrid
This was really sweet thanks man
My LGS does our commander night on Thursday nights lol
I think WotC encourages Thursday night EDH, to be part of their LGS program

Sweaty nerds that aren't willing to teach people or act like they are the best when they've never won a single tourney outside this LGS.
