- My students ask me, why am I doing this, I don't want people go to Russia and being detained as a spy, foreign informers as this is the main fate of free people in Russia now, be aware of laws and what is going on.
A Foreign agent law
Who can be labelled a “foreign agent”?
- The law applies to any individual who distributes information on the internet and receives money from foreign sources.
- Also, any individual who distributes foreign media can be labelled a foreign agent.
- The State Duma has confirmed that both foreigners and Russians may be labelled “foreign agents” under the new law.
What happens to so-called “foreign agents”?
- All material published by an individual who receives money from abroad - including social media posts - will be labeled as having been distributed by a foreign agent. This label will be added by the individual or by the website on which his or her content appears, and not by the government.
Law is about to take place in Russia and being discussed as you read it:
- prohibit UA-cam
- people say bad things about the government go to jail
- police can shoot without explanation
- police is not accountable and can detain anybody without saying why (absolute power)
- prohibit young people to vote
- gather all personal information including medical and everyday bank accounts will be open to the government (therefore to corrupt structures as this is the same thing)
- take money from the bank account without explanation, if the government suspect "something"
and many other anti-people and pro dictatorship laws.
Usurpation of power is taking place in Russia now, we can not let it be another North Korea. The world does not need another dictator.

Any expression of thoughts against the Government is being suppressed, people being arrested for speaking up, the biggest violation of human rights is taking place. A person got arrested for a piece of paper, a piece of paper, like in North Korea!
We ask all publicity to document all that, as Russia within is in the informational void with massive propaganda.I would like to bring a World awareness to what is happening in Russia because you will not see it on TV. What to do with this information is up to you, but people should go pass being charmed by propaganda and see the results and actions. Recent illegal changes to the constitution among other unti-people laws will allow V.Putin and his government to cancel the previous 21 years of presidency and start from 0, which means rule till the year 2036, also to strengthen his power and basically to have absolute power. it is not a democratic country, only on paper.
Russian people who don't not know this is living in an informational void and believe in propaganda of mass information from Federal channels. Why Russian TV channels does not show 100000 people protest in Habarovsk or feeding small misleading information, it is not North Korea, they can not do it. Im doing this to break through this informational vacuum.
Current government that has been in power for more than 20 years sucked all the oil, minerals, cut all forests from the surface of our country to sell. Not even 10 per cent is returning to the citizens of Russia. All benefits go to several people. Russia is stripped of its own factories, productions, all been closed down, no manufacturing. Budget money has been spent to government luxuries, military, propaganda and internet trolls.

Thank you for posting this! I have been following what is still happening to peaceful protesters in Belarus but I was so naive and thought that everything was very different in Russia :-(. I will be looking for ways that might perhaps work to specifically help the people that are imprisoned (and their families). Best, Stefan

Unfortunately many Russian people don't want your solidarity. They are like Trump supporters here. They buy the propaganda from government.
