- During our mitotic phase of the cell cycle, we can divide the steps into four parts with cytokinesis as the fifth. In this video we will focus on the events of prophase with a brief refresher of the rest of the cell cycle.
the clearest explanation of tens i have watched on you tube. thank you very much, very helpful for my A levels. :)
I am a 65-year-old grandmother studying cell biology and I can't believe I got this! You are an awesome teacher!
I have an exam next Friday..and this helped me so much. I needed a clear explanation! Thank you so much. You are a natural born teacher!
Prophase is the most complicated stage of mitosis so thanks for the clear and concise explanation
After days of studying I finally understand Prophase thank you!!!!
Great and very helpful..... keep it up
Amazing explanation. Thank you so much.
Really great explanation - the point about the polar microtubules was a bit of an a-ha moment for me :)
Amazing video. Thanks for ur help!
This was very helpful, thank you so much

What im struggling with in these videos is that the physical mechanisms involved that make the cell do what it does is never mentioned, only the reason why it's useful to the organism is mentioned.
For example, if someone asks why does earth have water, these videos will tell you that it's so the animals have something to drink.
Now obviously this isn't informative, earth has water because it was hit with many icy asteroids and comets.
So I'm looking for WHY things do what they do in cells.
I think you have to check the basis of the process on the molecular and maybe atomic level to get a better understanding of why these movements are made, and long story short , the answer is chemical reactions
